Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.

Straegy my man...strategy and process - GC
Love your channel Paul! I still think NIO 🚗 has a great potential 🚀📈 in the next 3 years, so I keep buying them on discounts since the latest months.
Really enjoy this videos format. As an over 2 year subscriber, I like the flow and teaching of this video Please do more in the format/style. The math is nerdy but I like it.
Agreed.
More to come! - GC
Paul is an excellent teacher. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks for your support ! AP
Great video Paul!
Thank you so much!
Excellent Video, Bravo!
Thanks for following us - GC
I like this type of video. A little bit of everything.
Appreciate that - GC
I also like ULTA! Good pick
Good stuff - GC
brilliant analysis, I m buying for multi years out too
Thats great ! AP
@paul Can you do cash secured puts for lower than 100 shares?
With 100 shares per contract, you're basically working with 40k USD to invest in ULTA. Is there any way to utilize the cash secured puts for lower principal amount?
You can, on things like a "poor man's call". However, we don't do this. Best to learn know so that once you have 100 shares you'll be ready
It’s probably priced in at this point but Ulta is expected to lower full year guidance at the quarterly report coming up. I’m curious to see how it reacts. I love them as well, but if growth is slowing that is concerning.
Hope you’re well.
Hi Paul, love your channel. Would you please consider stating in your opinion what a good entry price on stocks is for you, not considering selling any types of puts. I work 12 plus hours a day and don't know option trading very well at all. I would love to be able to compare what you feel is a good entry price on various stocks to my own, but I don't ever consider selling puts in my math. This video was great because you gave your opinion on what we could expect on buying the stock at todays $395 price. Thank you and have a great day.
Everyone has different valuations and entry prices , we are here to show you a process where you can make your own decision on when Is the best time to enter it .AP
Wonder if Mo is buying this? Looks like a double top and could go lower in the long term?
Liking ULTA right now. Reminds me of WSM this time last year.
We been looking at it for quite a while .AP
Excited to see what their sales will be like in Mexico
The Mexican economy should be growing significantly in the next decade as manufacturing in China is being dumped in favor of a more reliable supply chain..
Mexico is doing pretty good , and we are giving them more work .AP
I like the math part, you should do it more often!
Much appreciated we will try .AP
Both my investing mentor and I came up with a similar intrinsic value for ULTA. In our eyes Paul is a buyer at its fair value without a margin of safety.
Thanks fpr following us - GC
could not agree more, have missed ulta the last tme it was close to my price, just by a dolalr or something, but its coming back now, maybe i get another chance.
360 seems very reasonable on the low assumption, i get basically the same outcome
You might want to add- selling cash secured put you will need to have $35000 in dry powder for this stock as you will be buying 1 contract (100 shares)…..many don’t have that understanding…..
True its not for everybody .AP
When you talk about your process and pillars - do you ever factor in the behavior of the CEO into your buying or selling equation?
I feel like Palantir could be a good investment long term but the CEO seems a bit wild.

Great analysis as always. The issue I would have with this company is that online reviews do not seem great. If it was a brand that women were just obsessing over because their products and stores were incredible I would probably be more interested. Too much long term risk for me. Probably completely wrong though!
Interesting.. I've been owning ULTA for 2+years now
Good stuff my man - GC
I have this as well. But 380% in 10 years is awesome!
Great stuff - GC
Ulta is at a pretty great entry point. Another one I've got my eye on at the moment is Adobe, the recent pullback I feel has opened the door for them as well.
It sounds like its debt keeps increasing and that it jas bad long term leases and its desperately trying to get into Target before all of its stand alone stores tank. Even if it turns around, it has no dividends and its not using its cash to lower its debt
Good stuff - GC
With all thr wars going on and with nato seemingly adopting the f35 could u please review Lockheed Martin stock?
Thanks we will try to give it a look.AP
Do DVN sometime soon
May need to investigate! Thanks for this!
It does seem like a company with great financials... what was the reason for the drop in share price?
Thats something to dig deeper once the valuations make sense .AP
still buying and holding GME for 3 years Paul. That's real long-term value investing.
And you’re way down
😂😂😂😂
Right....idk about that
@@EverythingMoney you were saying?…
the problem with cash secured puts is that you need 35000$ to cover the strategy which not everybody has
moreover if the stocks goes even to 0 you have still to buy it at 350$ per 100 shares for every put you sold
Not a sport for everyone - GC
I asked some ladies what they thought about ULTA. Apparently, they stopped allowing girls to try makeup in the stores? Many of them said they stopped going there because of that.
Interesting...that could certainly contribute
I sold my last GME shares Thursday two weeks ago for 12$, maybe I should have held lolll Long story short, I bought that stock prior to the RedditWSB's involvement. I paid 5$ when there were talks of Microsoft possibly partnering with them with the goal of making it to 9$ at the time. When it started to get there, I sold half of my 300 shares. I was riding practically free shares while it went crazy, only made a few grand with my shares unlike others who made millions...and others who lost millions too lol
Good stuff - GC
Do a video on AMC
AMC x GME??
@@EverythingMoney sure boss!
This is a stock I am definitely interested to buy but I am planning to buy it at 350. To me, that seems a good price.
Good stuff - GC
I am interested in this one too but I think it needs to come down further. I think brick and mortar it'll be difficult to expand their net income margin or their free cash flow margin too much. I also think it's more difficult for free cash flow to be 100% of net income because physical stores carry higher cap ex. I'd be interested around $320.
They’ve grown online sales every year
@dylan-cj1cg That's great but that doesn't lower the cap ex for physical locations. It might increase revenue somewhat and perhaps allow them to have a bit wider net income margin but I don't see that leading to a massive margin increase.
keep on waiting 😂😂😂
The strategy is to buy initially options til it hits $350. If you buy the stock straight up, you might want to wait til the process dips further. To me, Nike looks better.
@@SantaBarbaraAlberto Yeah I watched the video and saw that he did say $350. I'm a little lower than that but might reassess depending on how it goes between now and then, assuming it comes down farther.
Mu and cmcsa review please!
Good suggestions - GC
Gamestop is up almost 80% today on no news. What are you thoughts on this uncle Paul?
Yes the news are that roaring kitty put a post on x
Are your two goals in this consideration of a cash covered put competing against one another? That is, are you seeking to buy this company long-term …or are you seeking to make 15% on your cash for the next 29 days? My perception is that your primary goal is to own this company. That’s the basis of your whole platform. I would think this buying strategy works if the price falls from today appropriately well. I would think this strategy does not work for your larger long-term goal if the price goes up.
Paul's goal is to aquire shares at cheap price (at a strike price) with puts; and/or to increase his capital with covered calls - GC
Wouldn't you be technically using 35,000 in cash not 350? zwhy are you dividing the strike?
Bought intel friday very cheap.
Best of luck - GC
Ulta looks good now
Good stuff - GC
Not a cheap stock but if they transition to Target stores, they'll pay a lot less rent (or whatever deal they work out).
Keep the winning stores open and the other areas/cities, put 'em in Target. Not a bad plan.
Good stuff - GC
I love dividends. They need to change the law where share buy backs are taxed and, use the revenue to increase my dividends. I’m 64, still work and love free money every month and quarter
Dividends can be great! Just remember that they are double taxed. But the "free money" is definitely nice!
Earnings week for the Chinese big boys, hopefully lighten some of everyone's BABA bags 😅
We will see - GC
i always click this guys video to compare the size of his head on the thumbnail to real life lmaooo
Thanks for sharing - GC
😂
If you like a high ROIC and share buybacks, you'll love MO 🤑
Will check it out .AP
Nice! Though I dont have 35k to bet on Ulta. Thx anyway.
It doesn't have to be 35k!
Was there any stock that you made 370%? Personally if I kill it in the stock market, I wouldn't bother making UA-cam videos or trying to sell anything.
But that's you....and we like the way you are 😉- GC
@@EverythingMoney and to my first my question?
NM, I figured it out. Thanks.
All good on financials but don't see a Moat.
Its brick and mortar beauty retail. They don't need a moat, they sell other brands. Their only competitior is Sephora, and ULTA is only based in the US.
You must be single
Nice one - GC
@@foodini666hah 😂
No options for me. Will just stick to shares.
do a video on $HII
Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc
stable, growing, reliable FCF
Thanks for the suggestion - GC
Hey remember this is an excel sheet without a story. There are a ton of beauty stores out there. Every retailer is selling beauty products. Every online business like Amazon is selling them too. So no moat here at all. Remember, the story and the numbers both have to marry each other 😄
'A story without numbers is a fairytale' -Aswath Damodaran
I need more margin of safety, waiting till 350 if it ever happens
Thats not bad either .AP
When are we gonna see some transparency and take a look at ur portfolio?😊
No need to look at his portfolio , we teach a process that its on the books , that works , all value investors use in one way or another .AP
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser some time ago and we got to talk about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and In the first 2 months my portfolio increased to $274k crazy right? I decided to re invest my profit and it got more and more interesting for over 4 years now we’ve been working consistently and making profit I bought a house 3 weeks ago and I’m taking good care of my family
Just buy LVMH Paul
Paul loves that stock - GC
One more dumpster stock
What stock would you suggest?
Okay dokey - GC
Buy Oddity Tech instead. The released earnings last week and shattered expectations.
Maybe he will do a video on why this stock is a loser
Good stuff - GC
Paul, Just buy Google.
Just buy VGT and VOO. It's too volatile now to be buying big box retail stores like Ulta.
He will at some point..he loves it - GC
Says the guy shorting nvda…
Coolio - GC
Stock price falling substantially over a short period of time, stock price in $400 range, and a big push to buy it...... no thanks
Fair enough - GC
Fastgraphs is so much better than this software.
Cool - GC
He’s lying, he bought AMC and GME. Lol
HAHAH .AP
