I like the fps Russia video in the background.
I had imprinting wearing front, rear, and side soft plates. But with a one size larger flannel shirt, it was less noticeable. I'll try removing the side armor to see if that helps to reduce the imprint.
Wear a small shirt over the carrier so its even less visable. Then your everyday shirt over. I like to put 2 of those tight fighting sweat wicking shirts on one under the armor and one over.
I guess if they ask what's wrong with your back, you can always say scoliosis. 😂

Well it's been 5 years since that polo appeared in this video. We don't think we'll be able to track it down and figure out where it was bought.

It does not at all look like you could walk by someone without them noticing that you're wearing armor under your shirt, but from a distance, this looks really good and I could definitely see myself blending into a crowd while wearing this. The people next to me, though, are definitely going to know something is up.

I'm having a hard time getting the plates in and I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, I wasn't able to find any videos of people inserting the plates into this type of carrier
Just to make sure, you have one of our concealment carriers and you're having trouble inserting the soft armor panels into it?

Yes, it's made to be snug. As long as you can insert the armor panels into the sleeves on the carrier, you're good to go

Very cool. I need this carrier in my life. Seems like more and more nutjobs are coming out of the woodwork these days, and I think it would be wise to have a little added protection. Working in a giant, open factory with no security personnel makes me worry. I love the way that soft armor conforms to the body, and is lightweight, but I think I will go with the hard armor (and rifle-rated, at that.) Hard armor has some definite benefits: It is relatively inexpensive, it is knife proof (many soft armors are not,) it doesn't have an expiration date, and there is less damage to the tissue/bones underneath the spot where you are hit. Soft armor is like a catchers mitt, and you will often get internal bleeding, broken ribs, etc.
Well, I went ahead and bought one, plus a front plate :) I'll need to wait until next week to buy the rear plate.
I'm a pretty slim guy, like 135lbs 5'9" slim. If you tell me this thing is adjustable to such a small size while still having 10x12 plates positioned properly I'm buying one now.
What would you recommend for hunting season? Stops most hunting calibers, can be worn for long durations, can be concealed, stops rounds to the thoracic cavity, abdomen and lower back. Bonus points for cooling system.
That's gonna be fairly expensive. I would run a Testudo with level 3+ plates, probably get the side plates too. Really kinda hard to conceal armor that can stop hunting rounds. Might not want to run trauma pads if you really need to conceal
Oh yeah you can buy aftermarket cooling inserts too
I got this setup for myself a while back and was a little bummed out. I've got a really wide chest and the edges of the 10x12 curved plates only go from nipple to nipple so the curve really sticks out and is not concealable. I should have got flat plates and maybe 11x14 version :(

The puffy coat makes a good point. In my state, it's cold half the year, so we don't need to hide it under a polo shirt or something. I wear for work, and I own the concealment with the IIIA hybrids for work, and I keep the IIIA hard plates for when things get dicey and I need to avoid trauma from blunt objects, needles, etc.

It's cool you have the videos running in your conference room of other UA-camrs who have tested your products. From those tests it seems you slightly under-rate your plates--they usually are able to stop a slightly more powerful round than they are rated for.
It's off-topic, but I noticed your UA-cam videos on the TV were stuttering in the second half of the video. Do you have Wi-Fi issues? You may need more Access Points to service your building.

What is the highest threat level plate or soft armor I can put on that and still be concealable ;I live in a area with a high crime rate there’s constant active shooter situation with ak’s and other smaller calibers and I don’t want to be that innocent bystander who got shoot in the chest by a straight ak bullet
7.62 x 39 is actually pretty easy to defeat. Any lvl III 3 plate will beat it. Well as long as its real. 3a is for pistol rounds.
Save the money and get a different crib that’s not in Baghdad

You can. Just order online and they will send it to you in 7-8 weeks. Or if you live in Arizona like me you can just go to the store real quick and buy the ones they already have in the store. Not sure why it takes 7-8 weeks to grab one off the self and send it in the mail tho.

They list the weight of each plate. The Hybrid softs are around a pound each, with perhaps a pound or less for the carrier itself. The Level IIIA is 4.8 pounds each, the III is like 6.5 pounds each.
Do you or do you know anybody who makes lower chest plates?
Lower? Like abdominal plates? Ar500 has a abdominal plate and carrier for it. It attachs to other vests and covers the guts. Only problem is when i got mine they didnt have it in 3+ rating.

First off you can clearly see you are wearing body armor underneath, second that looks like a really cheap soft body armor
