Negombo is a predominately Catholic city. The ceremony you witnessed is a Vespers service (celebrated in the evening) before the high mass next morning. In most churches the loud music isn't there. 😅
Yes, definitely Negombo is mainly a Catholic City. It was an incredible night. we had never experienced a celebration like that. It was truly extraordinary to see everything and feel the energy! 🩷❤️
