Whatever makes you most comfortable to vlog at Costco works for me. I enjoyed the video today, but I also enjoy the fun banter between you and your husband when he shops with you.
Hey Jessica! I always cook my ground beef frozen. No need to thaw it at all. Just add water to your pan and cover the pan with a lid. Every couple of minutes i lift the lid and scrape off the cooked thawed meat, break it up a bit. Close the lid again and repeat until cooked. I then fry it until the water is almost cooked out and then add my onion and garlic if using. This way you don't have to use oil to fry your meat. It's healthier and tastes just as good. On another note, i miss seeing videos with you and other Jessica! Would love to see a vlog with you two, you guys are hilarious together
I like the shopping. Sometimes the extended descriptions of every item are exhausting. Some of it with new or seasonal items is fine. I really enjoy how you do it.
Saw a UA-cam video where a woman who always makes her own vanilla try the pressure cooker method. Don’t remember but I think it only took about an hour or so and she couldn’t tell or taste the difference! Worth a try. Enjoy your day!
I know it might feel awkward, but I would love for you to just chat while you shop. You always have such happy in your voice and it's a pleasure to hear❤
Good to see you today. Miss you. Great haul today. I have to agree with you prices have gone mad. Good luck. Hope to see you again soon. Take care from Cape Cod❤️🇺🇸
My tip for the Costco ground beef, I cook it all the day I buy it then I vacuseal and freeze it. I use it for sauces, casseroles, tacos etc. not only does it save me time down the road it means I don’t have to worry about the expiry date, because I agree their expiry date is too close for comfort.
You had me meat run! We’re for sure feeling the pinch as well! I say, do Costco runs the way you feel most comfortable. Everyone’s gonna do it a little different, and I don’t think I would talk to the camera if I was by myself either. You and Lance seem to have a lot of fun when you’re there together. Always fun to capture that. Wishing you and your family all the best!
Hi Jessica✋🏾I love watching all of your vlogs. Please continue being your awesome ,authentic, joyful, peppy, self. Your Costco vlogs are great just the way you have them ( in my opinion). Love and blessings to you and your family. 🙏🏾💜😊
I’ve just found your vlog. New subscriber here now from Australia.. I live on acreage so I’ve just started bulk buying & preserving. I’m interested in what Costco have & prices plus bulk items that can be frozen or stored for some time. Even other stores & products you have. I really enjoy learning more. Don’t be shy of using a camera in public. Confidence is the key & you have a personality that shines through. Thankyou.
First time running across you! Yes talk while shippingbto keep people watching you! State the cost!!Enjoyed this!! You definitely got a really good deal on sausage it is mote hete in Arjansas!! Makes one wonder where it came frim sorry?? Will check out your blog!!
Every time we go grocery shopping for a relatively large shop, my head spins. Prices are also high here in southern Europe. I suppose no matter where we live in the world, we have the same problems. Sending you lots of love. Thanks for the videos also. It really makes my day to see your videos and your smile.❤❤❤
Your son gave me a good laugh 😀 Grocery’s are very expensive just me alone I can spend totally $300. Including paper goods etc added with food. Per month. My prayers for healing ❤with your family
vanilla extract you can use bourbon if you want and all you would need is maybe 2 small bottles of those 1 shots they have at the counter. You would have made Madagascar vanilla.
I always enjoy your Costco runs. As long as you show the price of each item, I am a "happy camper". Jessica, I just found a "new" product at my grocery store and thought of Lance immediately as I know he likes Jimmy Dean breakfasts in the morning when he goes to work. It's called "Maple Griddle Cakes". It's sausage, egg and cheese between 2 pancakes. They are delicious and only take 70-80 seconds to microwave(depending on the wattage of your microwave). My only suggestion about them is before cooking them break up the cheese slice so it is completely covered by the pancakes. If the cheese is sticking out of the pancakes it will make a mess. 🤣. Hopefully, you can find them in your area. Take care and have a great week. 🫂❤️
Jessica, take your tortilla shell and make a taco bowl or you can make into a fruit bowl. Take the tortilla and take a large empty can put it into the shell and deep fried it til tan color for making a fruit bowl when she'll is done sprinkle cinnamon sugar over it yum delicious. Hope your Dad is doing well Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲
hi - I like how you do your costco vlogs! don't change. Also - I thought you did your meet flat so it would be easier to stack in the freezer... just a bonus!
Plz share your beans n rice recipe and your vanilla recipe....The Ninja Creami looks awesome...Ive been watching for them to come down in price too ! I have the ninja dual basket air fryer and absolutely love it ! Your costco vlogs are one of my favs and you dont have to change a thing !
I had my least expensive Costco run ever this week. I only spent $150 and I got hamburger and chicken breast. I was going to get thighs but the breasts were $6 off so I went for that. And they had their lasagnas for $4 off. I buy the frozen hamburger in rolls. There are 5 one pound rolls already packaged. I like that better than coming straight home and repackaging them. I used to do that but I don’t have a food saver so I just had to use ziplock bags. So good to see you again. 😊
When I repackage the foods to put in the freezer, I also write todays date and how many days until it's expiry/best before date because my freezer looks a lot more disorganised than yours (and is a chest freezer so I have to deep dive to get to the bottom lol)
i love your videos and you!!!! just keep doing you cuz you are great ! and i can relate to you i have 2 boys an 2 girls with my husban of 21 years our youngest just turned 11 and your freezer looks just like ours lol!! love it!
Cut the vanilla beans in pieces, and shake every couple of hours to get it to extract faster. I prefer the vanilla made with rum to vodka. It has a softer flavor. Also, check out Vanilla Bean Kings, they have lots of different types of beans and they ship fast.
That is some good advice Jessica. Please wash your hands when using/touching raw meat. Yay I'm glad you are uploading slowly, but uploading :D Just be you when going through Costco. :)
Did you speed that Dodge all the way to school?🤣 I feel for couples today with multiple children. I’ve seen UA-camrs with 10 to 13 children.😊 OMG, I’ve seen some of their shopping hauls!😫 Enough to make a parent cry. We are a family of 3 mom, dad, and a 21 yr. old with medical issues we’re working on to get him moving in life. Luckily, we watch the food bill, but not what we are eating unfortunately. Our son brings us to Costco once a month. I can’t drive far, only local, and mom can’t drive due to partial blindness, but we manage, being retired (on a fixed income), no mortgage, and living in Florida out of the cold of NY winters. It was a pleasure seeing you back in action and hope to see you and your crew soon. Good night from 50 degree Fl.!
I am soooo with you on what you said about being careful and washing everything up good after handling raw meat. Im always on my hubby about it cuz hes not careful at all! 😮 lol You blogs are great how they are...Costco runs and all!
I remember the temperature in Anchorage that meant indoor recess was-20. I was shocked as an adult when around 40 was the temperature for indoor recess where I worked. Different climates and preparedness for cold weather. I like all your Costco runs. What did the rotisserie chicken cost?
If we forgot something, our Dad would have said tough luck, bet you won't forget it tomorrow. He was right. We were taught to be responsible for ourselves early on.
✍Hi Jessica and Violett Family... Good to see you tonight. Hope you'll be doing vlogmas this year🎄 I've noticed that Bert and Jessica make green beans and rice. I've not really eaten either recipe but will have to try them. We bought the Smores maker when Hershey first introduced them and they were made with porcelain and bought 2 thru the mail and both were broken then was in a department store bought one got home and it was broken so we just gave up on having a Smores maker. The one you showed us is a much better idea. You did buy a good amount of meat so don't beat yourself up plus those wipers are a must. It's just me (78) and my oldest grown daughter (59) and grocery prices are getting out of hand but what can you do so we pay but I'm always looking for bargains. I also repackage my ground beef into patties and 1 pound containers for us also since chicken breasts are so large I allow 1 breast and slice it so it makes 1 for each of us. Thanks for sharing your grocery shopping with us. Hope to see you and the family soon. Good Night😴 God Bless LuvYa! Bye from Ohio🌹
Lov your shopping vids. What I would say is just show items a tad slower otherwise you do great videos. Your husband and you are my favorites your so cute and a bunch of fun. 👍🏻🙏🏻💙
You do you whatever makes you happy just make more videos because I miss you and the family I'm watching reruns it's okay but I want you please thank you
Jessica you are overthinking the meat expiration! The expiration date is the freeze or sale by date. It can be frozen for a long time. Also even when it’s thawed you can still use it within several days. Like 3-4! … it’s not going to go bad in a day or two. As far as thawing and for someone who’s worked in the grocery meat dept for years, just be sure you aren’t putting it in warm water to thaw. Water has to be cold in order for bacteria not to grow. It’s best to thaw overnight in the fridge or in cold water.
Your Costco shopping on the vlog is perfect!! Please don’t change a thing.
Jessica prayers that your Dad is doing better! I have been praying for him. ❤
Keep your videos the way they are. Don't change a thing. ❤
Everything is SO expensive now. I used to be a stay at home mom but now I got a part time job while kids are in school. It helps so much.
Same here, do what makes you comfortable while filming! 🎄☃️❄️

Good to see you again. Love to see snow at your place , not where I'm at. LOL.
I would like that I don't get there very often so I like seeing what's going on at Costco during the time period of sales glad to see you back
I love the way you do your Costco videos but I really love the Costco hauls with Lance. 😊
You can "speed up" the vanilla process using your insta pot. 😊 I did it last year and it worked out great 👍🏼
Love your videos just the way they are you do you!!! 🩷🩷🩷 I’m so glad you decided to post this one!!! Hope your dad is doing well!!! 💙🙏🏽💙
I love when you and your husband shopping. He is so funny. And you two play off each other so well.

Your gorgeous! My freezer looks the same 😂 that’s life, busy messy and functioning.. we’ll get to it when we get to it..😂😂❤ from Australia 🇦🇺 😘
On your homemade vanilla, I’ve tried many types of alcohol. #1 favorite is dark spiced rum🤟🏻
Oooh! Thank you!!
I remember the temperature in Anchorage that meant indoor recess was-20. I was shocked as an adult when around 40 was the temperature for indoor recess where I worked. Different climates and preparedness for cold weather. I like all your Costco runs. What did the rotisserie chicken cost?
The rotisserie chickens are a set price of $4.99. That’s what they cost here in LA, and every other Costco I’ve been to.
Hello from Louisiana
Keep the shopping videos, I'm not crazy when people do the afterward grocery hauls...
If we forgot something, our Dad would have said tough luck, bet you won't forget it tomorrow. He was right. We were taught to be responsible for ourselves early on.
My kids forgetting a coat one time is not irresponsible 😉

I like any kind of video you do
Lov your shopping vids. What I would say is just show items a tad slower otherwise you do great videos. Your husband and you are my favorites your so cute and a bunch of fun. 👍🏻🙏🏻💙
Meat prices are through the roof. But generally everything has sky rocketed. I don't know how people with kids can afford groceries.
You can make vanilla extract in minutes in an instant pot
Hope to see more vlogs your kids sre so cute and very funny
You do you whatever makes you happy just make more videos because I miss you and the family I'm watching reruns it's okay but I want you please thank you

You really did do pretty good at Costco!! Food I prices are terrible!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀
I use those tortillas they are good here in Colorado there 4 dollars
Love the Costco vlogs but if can just show prices of the items you buy just to see what prices are like in Alaska
