The guns in CS:GO may not be incredibly accurate, but it's Valve's best work in terms of gun animations (the new reworked sound effects are kinda ass, let's be real here).

Also 60mm 12 Gauge is just a little shorter shotgun shell, it has nothing to do with the capacity

and you can visually see that it's 70mm rounds, and no by decreasing 10mm won't stretch the capacity to +3.
