When you said you're going to get the corner damp, you never specified what you used. You should never use water, as these damage metal contacts and metal surfaces over time. It is best to use 97% IPA or higher for electronics. Other than that, thanks for helping me out with this issue.
I found Jumanji for $5 in a clearance bin and it would not load. I tried this and it worked! Thanks man!

Most likely most of the time the reader can be fragile and the pins that connect to the PCB of the game card, has unfortunately gotten bent and may need to replace the reader itself@@Mattamus

@@emmysparis yes you can! The card reader isn’t the part that holds data, just converts audio and reads the cartridges.

Yea. I used a clean white towel. But does it move while its in the switch? If it does you could hold it down. S And that might could work too. Or you can refund if it's pretty new.

What did you use to get the corner damped
I used water but some commenters mentioned maybe that’s not the best to use since it could lead to damage to the metal portions of the card. Something with 97% IPA was also recommended.
Not going to lie didnt think it would work but surprisingly it did!
Reminds me of blowing breath on the old NES cartridges back in the day

I have a problem similar to this except nothing will get the switch to read the game. It happens with every game I have so I don’t know what is causing the problem.
this sounds like the game slot on the switch itself is damaged to me if it’s not reading any games

This happens when I put in super Mario party and when this happens I get pissed off 😡😡🤬🤬 I try until the card is read and it has to be something with the game card itself ugh 😩

check if it works with other games to be sure it’s not the card reader inside the Switch.
try a few times to make sure all the contacts get clean, I had a game where it took me like 3 times of repeating the cleaning steps before it worked!

sometimes it takes a few tries of wiping it clean with the damp towel, letting it air dry out then putting it back in switch and turning it back on

sometimes takes a few times trying! use damp cloth and then blow in it to dry it before inserting again.
