Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula asked DA MP Glynnis Breytenbach to apologise after ANC MPs, including Mamoloko Kubayi, had raised her comments as problematic.
Breytenbach refused. Mapisa-Nqakula asked her to leave.However, the DA took exception to this, with the party's leader, John Steenhuisen, accusing Mapisa-Nqakula of being “against freedom of speech."
