- Cool ambient group performing at Maxine's in Hot Springs, AR. The light show was a nice touch.
The song is "This Kind Of Life Keeps Breaking Your Heart".
To say that Maxine's is not the typical venue one would expect Hammock to play at would be an understatement. A lot of the people in attendance likely weren't even there to see Hammock. It doesn't excuse all the talking, but that's the explanation.
talking during hammock show is like closing your eyes when the sun is setting... something amazing is happening right in front of you, but you refuse to let it affect you...
When Hammock plays, you SHUT UP.
I wish there were more vids of this band live.
I went in a venue in London a couple of years ago and there were signs up everywhere saying "Please do not talk when the band is playing, if you want to talk to your mates all night go to a pub, not a gig!", every venue should do this. The venue were pretty strict with it too, telling people to shut up etc, I enjoyed that gig!
The best band ever. I don’t know how you doing this. Greatings from 2010-2023
I would pay hundreds of dollars to see these guys if they came to australia...... Also I would shut the fuck up when they were playing and enjoy the moment.....
I think they are quite ahead of people's understanding.. which is somewhat sad. sigh.. I love you guys.
Some awesome fuckin footage! There's only 2 live videos on UA-cam and this is one! So thx mate!!! These guys are the best ambient/post rock band to date!
God i love this group i listen to them every night and find complete serenity
The only live i see from hammock. Lucky people
Unbelievably amazing how they can actually do this live.
just found it. its called "This Kind Of Life Keeps Breaking Your Heart" Great song
Hammock, please come tour again - your music is so underrated, magical, and lovely and I appreciate everything you guys do..
Ppl!!! Keep quieeeeet!!!
These guys are awesome and totally underrated.
I love how they have to look at one another and nod in order to play in sync since there are no drums or anything. So much detail in what they record. I can understand why they rarely gig. But this looks great!
What a lucky crowd....they left the club that night more in touch with themselves than ever. This kind of music helps put things into perspective.
I wish I could see this on live, at least once in my lifetime, I would mind to spend my savings to travel to USA just for listening to Hammock.
If there is ANY justice left in this world, Hammock will ONE DAY play at the Royal Albert Hall in London, they fucking deserve to play there, god damn geniuses! <3
incredible.
