@hergaurdianwolf Jenova was mistaken for an Ancient in the game, but was later revealed to be an alien that had crashed down on the planet and wrought destruction thousands of years ago. Sorry to be technical. You are right about the metal plating, however.

If I heard correctly though they're supposed to be using a lot of advanced computer technology to make it, so it'll be awhile before it comes out. Years. Also, I'm not sure where they are supposedly doing it, but if it was in Japan... yeah... tsunami and nuclear reactor meltdowns and all... >.>

Hey I was watching the ff7 series and in this video something about loveless clicked into place- with the terms Goblins, Loveless,Sons;and the clock being at 12:10, and the synthetic humanoids/monster being created. I wondered was this an element to the message of FF7?
8 was my fav for gameplay as far as how the summons work and magic gathered and so forth, I like 12 for the battle system, and I think Zell was a badass
Actually it wasnt finished, the devolopers even said they only threw in about 70% of the content they wanted. Remember those 1/35 Soliders? Why is there only 2 of them that do nothing? They rushed it, so Sapphire was killed off by the Sister Ray. Just update the graphics, add voice actors and complete the content. Hell do a version 2, just with all the stuff completed

@k4ba i don't understand why they haven't already. with today's technology and HDTVs they could remake this game frame by frame, keep everything exactly the same as far as mechanics and gameplay, and it would sell ridiculously. Why they wouldn't do that is beyond me... NOW would be the time... while the new FF games coming out are still somewhat enjoyable.

Jenova is so clearly based off of the Cthulhu Mythos of H.P Lovecraft. I like to think that its Jenova is in charge of Sethropth, then you get this whole Lovecraften thing of an alein god trying to use mortals as a way to take control of the world.
