As a petite, it is not always easy to find suiting clothes from Sézane... Over the past year I have ordered a looot of different styles, and in this video I show you 5 iconics that work very well for petites !

From Sezane Gaspard is my favourite. I am petite, not curvy, wear XS. My first experience was itchy, however once hand washed, no longer itchy, I do,however wear something light underneath. I am late 60’s so this wonderful cardigan is ageless. My lifestyle is casual, Gaspard is perfect for travel as weightless in the suitcase. Dresses up a great pair of jeans.

Good point about the itchiness, maybe it's because of the washing that it feels better, I had not made the connection 😅
@@delphinthecity I'm a knitter and so I'm familiar with the natural itchiness of mohair haha. Some other knitters swear by handwashing such a garment with your usual wool wash, rinsing, then letting it sit in fresh water with a capful of hair conditioner, rinse again and lay flat to dry. I don't think conditioner will help if the itch is coming from the nylon content, but then again, nylon isn't usually itchy. Good luck!
I am also petite and curvy through the hips, so I really appreciate your video showing us how the different Sezane items fit! I recently acquired my first Betty cardigan (navy crochet) and I loved it so much, I wore it two days in a row! Now I’m thinking about it in other colors😀

Dear Delphine, I suggest for a part 2 to try on the Damon trousers. I am 1,65 m tall and have one Damon trousers, I will ask the tailor if she can make it a bit longer due that while sitting it gets a bit too high for my taste. But the lengh shall be perfect for Petites! Regarding Betty I experienced that with a big bust and a normal torso lengh it is needed to go one size up otherwise it ends at the front shorter than at the back which looks strange. My Betty is in L and my 2 Gaspards in S! Have a lovely weekend and looking forward for part 2!

Betty is so beautiful, but somehow a bit tricky to actually wear... I have to think about outfit options, and probably will wait for new colours ! 😍 Thank you for sharing your experience with it ❤❤
Dear Delphine, I have the Damon trousers in size 42. I have a difficult body for trousers: a waist of 83 cm, a little remaining baby-belly, hips of 100 cm and very slim legs. So it is very difficult for me to find flattering trousers. Guess the Damon trousers have a wider waistline and therefore they suit me? I suggest to order your usual size and give them a try. Due that you have a slim waist I suggest to try the Martin Crop in your usual size in addition: these have a slim waistline, are high waisted. They did not worked for me, 40 was to narrow on the waist and belly and 42 was much too loose on the hips and legs. Regarding the Betty cardigan: give it a try with pencil skirts and short jeans skirts in slim line, optically this shall match the square fit of the Betty above. Hope it helps :-)

I had a look, and I actually tried the Damon pants back in September last year, but they unfortunately did not fit me 😢 I also have a lot of trouble finding the right pants for my shape, team remaining baby-belly here too 😅😂
I tried the Martin too at the same time, but not the crop version ! I will give it a try, thank you for the tip ! 😊❤
I have the Malcom in M in the Cherry red, and absolutely love it, but on me the V is much lower - to the point that I am only wearing it with a cardigan or pullover at work haha. It was great to see the Ann on you. I've been curious about it, especially as the cut of the Pierro doesn't seem to work for me and I've been hesitating over trying Ann instead.

I love love the Ann shirt, I even have it in several prints now 😂🙈 Somehow cotton shirts never fit me well, but fluid materials like the silk of the Ann is perfect ! They do them in silk and in viscose, you can check in the product description which material it is (also the viscose ones are normally a bit cheaper, that's also an indicator) 😊

Hello Delphine, 🌸je n'ai pas encore expérimenté leurs T-shirt (j'en attends un x Momoni), je ferai attention à la tendance à rebiquer ! Le seul pantalon que j'ai dans cette marque c'est Milo ( en deux couleurs). Je fais 5.3 de hauteur et XS mais je n'ai jamais osé commandé le 34, je crains que la distance taille bas des fesses soit inconfortable. Donc 36 et je ceinture. J'ai peut-être tord ^^. C'est un coton très doux bien qu'épais, à pinces, ce qui lui donne une touche d'élégance décontractée. J'ai plein de retard dans tes vidéos, je vais rattraper ça... Merci pour la revue détaillée !
