Thanks for the video. I've got a couple questions. It sounded like the car was running when you initially removed the TB. Does the car need to be running to remove TB? Did you notice a big change after you cleaned the TB? Last question, did you really need to reset the TB or do you think it would have been ok to not reset it?
The engine was not running, that was the garage heater. I haven’t had the car long and my wife is the primary user but the idle is rock solid! It is not required to reset the computer, the computer will relearn the more efficient throttle body after a period of time, resetting it just makes it run normal immediately 👊
I love that you’re meticulous but that’s the cleanest TB I’ve ever seen for a direct injection VW/ audi TFSi
