- In this video I install a cheap Bimini onto my tinny. I decided it was time to get out of the sun when I am on my next tinny adventure. This isn't really a how to but more of what I did.
I got the Bimini on sale at Anaconda for $140 which is cheap as far as Bimini's go. So the video may be helpful for some of you and if it was please don't forget to hit the like button.

I just put a vertical rod holder in the middle of the front seat and used a beach umbrella so I can still fish comfortably with no poles in the way
I used to use a beach umbrella in the rod holders too but had it blow out one day so thought I would try a Bimini. The real test will be when I go camping next. Thanks for watching. 👍

Great vid, glad to see your back. Loved the extensions on the back as mine vibrates a little being clip to saddle and it’s annoying the noise lol. I put on bars on the back to make mine a permanent stand up Bimini, it’s not open all the time just up and out of the way.
Cheers mate. Yeah I may even do that to mine as I picked up some alloy to make it stand up but I thought I would try it out like this first.
If you find your bikini straps vibrating when running.... Just put a twist in the strap and it will usually stop the vibrating in the wind...

Mate I don’t have anything too fancy or interesting. Most of my gear is 10 years old. The last reel I bought was a 10000 size shimano Saragosa which I generally use for casting big stick baits and poppers around. Thanks for watching mate.

Hay Big D, ankle is getting there. Had a cortisone injection in it today so hopefully that makes a difference. Next week I’m heading to Hervey Bay to spend a week in the Tinny so shouldn’t be too long before I get more vids up. How’s your shoulder? As always thanks for watching.

Hey mate do you like the casting deck without carpet
Mate it’s half carpeted at the moment and I do prefer it with carpet because it’s no where near as slippery or hot. 👍

Cheers mate. Yeah I have found the seat really good as long as you attach the base so it can’t move around. I’d have to send you a photo to show ya what I did.
