maxsun and soyo boards are my recommendations. They are decent quality, much better than Jginyue or any other no-name brand, because Maxsun is a large brand in China with a good reputation. Soyo is owned by the same company that owns Maxsun, the boards are almost identical. The cheapest boards are around £40 GBP and work great with any Ryzen 5 CPU with 0 throttling, for Ryzen 7/9, get the higher end model which costs around £15 more but has much better VRMs. e.g. Maxsun B550m Terminator
Be fine for a cheap system to match with a cheap 5700XT from Aliexpress which are great value now. Or just to put an i3 on, a load of storage and it's a cheap NAS.
Just 1 regular M.2 NVMe, no extra PCIE for extension, Doesnt seem to have any ARGB. Doesn't seem to be worth it when B660 are getting cheaper... and its only ddr4 too... I get Asus ATX B660 D4 for 100 Cad brand new here in Canada so :P
but its a b660 going on sale, yes you can, and absolutely its a better option, but compared to b760... its a cheap crappy board that just functions without exploding, perfect for i5 13400 or i3, if you want a core i7, or u find clerance sales of old gen, not the board for u, but its nice something like it actually exists
yep white PCBs are way nicer than black. I wish brands would make more of them, it's the reason I like galax HOF GPUs so much. Obviously they won't age well especially if your PC is by a window.
yup, even if its one of the crappy ones that "if u put a ryzen 9 it will catch fire", cheap, weak vrm boards are fine for ryzen 3 or i3 tier cpus, because with the current boards meant always to support the top tier cpus. Entry level cpus make no sense, am5 board 200$+ ddr5 200$+ and then u pick the cheapest cpu of am5 (7600) grand total... 650$.... or u can go r7 7700x for 730.... so u go 7700. Like 650$ vs 730.. who cares... OR if u dont need that perf... u get a 5600x and a cheap b450 board+cheap (or reused) ddr4.. for half the price
@@greenumbrellacorp5744 I'm sure some cunning Chinese manufacturer will be putting together a frankenmobo of a cheap b550 chipset with an AM5 socket mobo.
Just dont, buy cheapest b760m that can support any 12,13,14th gen cpu. You wont be overclocking anyway so you dont need a complete beast of a motherboard. For example i ordered B760m Asus TUF D4 for i3 12100f and it costed 129 euro + 86 euro for cpu (all new). With that you will gain better ram support, better temps, upgrade path, more connectivity and looks so you dont have to hide white mess like this one in the video.
@@rctm6278 You can put an i7 on the MB that i recommended. Buying 90 euro MB gets you nothing but I3 cpu on it with slower ram speeds and less lanes for m.2 and other things. The moment you wanna new cpu that cheap motherboard goes too, so you shouldnt cheap out, its only 40 euro difference.
One of the things I have learned on building PCs for over 10 years is to never cheap out on Motherboard. Get the best mid to high tier boards you'll never know when those extra features will come in handy in the future.
I use to agree. Unfortunately when the best mid to high tier boards now cost $400+ the price simply puts it out of reach of a lot of peoples budgets. Now I recommend last gen motherboards (intel B660 or AMD x570) as they go for cheaper when they are superseded by the latest gen motherboards. And often the last gen boards support the newer CPUs with a BIOS update.

I have two JginYue x79 motherboards here that have been running everyday for a few years, and they've been very solid for me. I'm quite pleased in general, and especially compared to what I've seen in reviews for other x79 ali motherboards.
The bios on mine is a blue AMI style bios, so seeing the crappy mouse-driven bios in the video made me laugh. I guess they're trying to roll out a more modern bios experience.
Can you do a AliExpress budget gpu comparisons?
Nowadays you can't even buy a H610 motherboard here for less than €80. So that sounds really cheap.
The bios looks a lot like the ones in Lenovo laptops like Lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3
Where can I buy i5 13500 for a good price?😍
I haven't seen a mainboard this cheap in years. . . I'm going to see if there are any cheap B-series boards for AMD's 7000 series.
Looks like what I would expect from a H710 chipset
I bought the h97i for a sff build and 4790 when there weren't many other options. Has an m.2 slot but lacked fan headers. Has the classic american megatrends bios. Was a cheap option and works well.
Brian you look exhausted I really hope you're getting proper rest. Try out valerian root tea.
Thanks brother, yeah in Japan I don't sleep as well as I do in aus... still figuring it out, at the stage where I might just faraday cage my sleeping room lol
@Tech YES City You welcome my dude, I'm sorry too hear that. That's also a wild idea, try an epsom salt bath, Ashwangda it's an Indian herb helps a lot with the nerves, mood. Mucuna also for the mood, Holy Basil also an Indian herb; calms you down. Heck man try out some THC without the high hemp oil, a tiny drop from the tincture knocks me out right away. I can't wait to visit Japan myself and China since my wife is Chinese though yeah this is a concern of mine too the time adjustment. You're better off with tincture trying out a drop from it. With all this herbs I'm mentioning because it could really knock you out. I know you've mentioned black out sleep before though of course can't ruin you're busy schedule either like not missing out taking your son too school in the morning lol 😆. I really hope that helps too give you sleep.
This would be an INSTANT buy if the motherboard firmware was free software, otherwise known as libre or often free-and-open-source, like the Libreboot firmware. It is theoretically not hard for a manufacterer to reach out via email to the Libreboot team for help with implementing such a thing, no?
There is a single Coreboot LGA1700 motherboard, so clearly manufacturers do not care
Consumers with wallets don't care either
AND its an $80 mobo if you live in the us shipping is 20.
Already installed mine, I get single beep no video on mother board or GPU, bios battery removed several times no luck came with NO manual, any advice? Pls help 🫤
Apparently, this board doesn't support SATA drives, something to be careful about maybe!!!
I think, that it will be a good idea, to make a simple construction, so you can *put an extra (cheap) fan, in such a way, that it will blow air, over the VRM's.*
To be fair, I actually DON'T hate this board ! BUT, since I'm an AMD fan, can you also look, for an *affordable Chinese, AM4 motherboard ?!* 🤔👍
maxsun and soyo boards are my recommendations.
Do the SATA ports work on this model?
So you're saying i shouldn't buy this for my 13700KS?
That would be a bad pairing
@@Solrak8O haha, i got a 12700KS for 50% off, looking for mobo around $250 and all the DDR5 good one are over $300
Be fine for a cheap system to match with a cheap 5700XT from Aliexpress which are great value now. Or just to put an i3 on, a load of storage and it's a cheap NAS.
new chipset motherboards are insane
B costs like Z, H costs like B and AM5 prices is a joke
Depends on what you mean by garbage.
That bios looks like Windows settings lol
Ty
it does have 4th gen nvme and 5th gen pcie so i guess that trumps a B450 or an A520,, interesting to say the least
For $15 more I can get a GIGABYTE B760M DS3H, which haves 4 DIMM slots
That BIOS looks like the one on Alienware systems
Yeah it's a similar BIOS to the Jginyue B660 Snow Dream ITX board I have. It takes some getting use to but not unworkable
probably solid for an i3 i'd assume
now you gotta do vid on how to remove the ccp backdoor on these mobos
Does she support ECC. Or did you say, and I missed it?
No it doesn’t. No ecc on intel consumer boards.
I'd say find the best 100$ to 120$ motherboard would be having more features and benefits
bru that bios looks like the windows 8 settings
that bios looks like the bios on a hp z420 workstation. Its terrible on it too.
Interesting. 13500 sounds promising but always total platform cost. Idk if I need to upgrade yet, 9th is fine.
I definitely need to upgrade because I am still using an i7 4790k with DDR3 Rams and a RTX 3060.
Most of the good aliexpress deals (this including) don't ship to germany at all. But, funnily enough, they often do ship to other EU countries.
Is the AliExpress version worse from this one
I also like the WHITE look !
DDR5 is irrelevant on lower SKU Intel CPUs (i5-13500 and below) Your best off sticking with cheaper DDR4 as the performance difference is so small.
Too bad in my country it's 74 euro + 20 euro shipping ... better off just going to the local pc shop.
The Bios looks so weird...
crazy cheap - haha and I like its colour
motherboard racism 💀💀💀
@@bagsai Wait, motherboard's have feelings?
@@techyescity u're right, let's be racist using mb so it's not actual racism 😈
yep white PCBs are way nicer than black. I wish brands would make more of them, it's the reason I like galax HOF GPUs so much. Obviously they won't age well especially if your PC is by a window.
@@bagsai So the OP is being racist? I am a little confused now after this reply. Or actually I don't know WTF I am reading now.
The bios is shady tho
H81 itx jginyue is too bad that the Bluetooth and wifi didn't work at all even with Ethernet
Surely put the 13900KS in this board
i want a $62 AM5 Motherboard
yup, even if its one of the crappy ones that "if u put a ryzen 9 it will catch fire", cheap, weak vrm boards are fine for ryzen 3 or i3 tier cpus, because with the current boards meant always to support the top tier cpus.
@@greenumbrellacorp5744 I'm sure some cunning Chinese manufacturer will be putting together a frankenmobo of a cheap b550 chipset with an AM5 socket mobo.
keep dreaming
@@tyre1337 true i take comfort in selling computer hard ware from 2017 for half the price its a win in my book
Imo paying more for motherboard than cpu is a no no
@@rctm6278 You can put an i7 on the MB that i recommended. Buying 90 euro MB gets you nothing but I3 cpu on it with slower ram speeds and less lanes for m.2 and other things. The moment you wanna new cpu that cheap motherboard goes too, so you shouldnt cheap out, its only 40 euro difference.
i would prefer asrocks vdh board for 80 bucks, compare the price difference for less headaches.
well it is attractive to be sure, if nothing else.
Omg did I see VGA on that board in 2023?
shouldn't b760 be a ddr5 board ???
@@mrsrhardy 11th gen is only ddr4. 12th and 13th gen are both ddr4 and ddr5. 13th gen supports ddr4. This board is ddr4.
Yeah jank Lenovo bios 🙌🏼
13500 is a beast
Spend an extra £15 and get a Soyo/Maxsun, much better.
99% of users will never need those extra gimmicks, I mean features.
