- The grand Rushikonda Palace nestled between the Rushikonda hills in Vizag has sparked a political showdown. TDP has found fresh ammo against YSCRP chief and former AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy over the construction of palace.TDP has accused Jagan Reddy of using public money for self-luxury, suspecting its worth over Rs 700 crore. Wading into the row, Congress AP chief YS Sharmila also targeted her brother and demanded a judge-monitored probe. Meanwhile, YSRCP has claimed that the building is constructed in a true spirit and would be used for government purposes.

YSRCP spokesperson says that these buildings can be used for government purpose. Which government purpose needs Rs. 40 lacs worth of bathtub, gold plated commodes, luxury bedrooms, imported Italian 3-D granite floors, automated luxury electrical fittings, Rs. 50 crores worth of greenery, 30 ft TV, etc.? Do the Govt. buildings need to be built by demolishing the existing tourist resort and excavating the hill against environmental laws?
A committee headed by Sri Lakshmi IAS already submitted a report saying Rushikonda buildins alone suitable for CM( then Jagan) residence.
First 7 lavish buildings built at the cost of Government with the pretext of tourist accommodation, but later those are being concerted to Jagan residence. Expenditure born by the government and enjoyed by Jagan at free of cost

Rushikonda was an ecologically sensitive place. The previous resort that existed at this location was small and reflected the ethos of Eco conservation. After that place was torn down by the Jagan led YSRCP , close to a quarter of the hill was dug and the sand was sold off. Whilst this was underway, the people of Vizag, along with several conservation organizations and the TDP were trying to get the courts to stop this plunder and desecration of such a beloved place. Even the supreme court and the Nation Green Tribunal were powerless to stop this rape of nature. Once the hill was dug up and all the soil was sold off, then came this 'PALACE'. Ostensibly it was a replacement for the old resort and will 'Rejuvenate tourism in Vizag'. But whilst the construction of the building was coming to a close, many started questioning the suitability of it as a resort. At this juncture, the YSRCP made an announcement that it will now use this 'PALACE' as the chief minister Jagan Reddy's new residence and office in Vizag. It was all a sham from the beginning.

Ysrcp spokes person is saying that for better building we spent 500 - 700 crores. We can also construct better buildings in a reasonable money spending, its just because of public money, jagan spent irresponsibly, need to investigate on this otherwise coming leaders will spent public money irresponsibilly.
As per ARNAB's suggestion on T.V. take that 40 cr. BATHTUB and put it in VIZAG CITY CENTER with a big hoarding "JAGAN's bathtub at the expense of the state of A.P", and this is the development that JAGAN has made in the last 5 years.

Advice to Jaga Reddy Gaaru: Sir, People are educated now a days. So, we want to see developement, not street dogs and drianage. In other words, we want the cabinet to be filled with honest IAS officers, not someone who barks like Street dogs and treat people as drianage.

The same Jagan Reddy government took a loan of nearly INR 300 crore from HDFC Bank using the AP Secretariat building as collateral due to a revenue deficit, along with many other government properties. Additionally, in place of this lavish palace, there used to be an affordable resort for the common man called Haritha Resorts, which occupied only 10% of the current palace's size and used to generate INR 20 crore per year for the government. Demolishing that is another significant loss to the government. Please mention these facts on your channel.
