fifi durand , too many great rock voices to begin a top to bottom list of singers imho... Plant, Glenn Hughes , Dio, Coverdale - Larry Samford of The Rocky Athas Group, you could fill the galaxy with em all , stars in their own right.... I understand we all have our favorite which is the tag I use..
I agree with this, also. Just like a list of "greatest" guitarists, keyboardists, bassists, drummers, etc. Paul Rodgers. The late Greg Lake, the late John Wetton. But, no doubt, Coverdale is right up there with the best.
Yep, no one does the blues like Jimmy. Tea For One, I'm Gonna Crawl, and Don't Leave Me This Way, some of Jimmy's best work came in the latter days of Zeppelin and beyond.
This whole album has stood the test of time! David Coverdale’s vocals Jimmy Page’s Guitar work. Denny Carmassi’s Drums Just Great Straight ahead Rock & Roll ! 😎🤘🤘🤘
Too bad the master tapes were destroyed because there was a fire over at Geffen records a few years ago....now Page should've guarded them like he carefully guarded the master tapes for his then fledgling band {Led Zeppelin}...and I heard talk about this album gonna be revived, and reissued probably because the album will have a 30th anniversary next year I hope....but in the meantime, hold on to your CD and vinyl versions of this album....it may be worth a million dollars.
Bought this bad boy the day it came out. You are 100% on the button there my friend. Great album. Blasted this one more than once through my Klipsch corner horns hooked to my Pioneer SX1980 and Yamaha CDX-2020 CD player. That old school stuff still rocks just fine for me. Take care.
I dont know, don't count Plant out. Well, ok, I'll give you that now that I think it. The early Plant, like imagine this on Zepp 3, you know? Or somewhere in that Zepp 2-5 Era. But I will say Plant did a better job on Shake My Tree I think.
I recall in high school getting a ride back home at 2 in the morning. I’m in the back seat of my friends car on the left side. Everyone is quiet and I’m looking up at the sky with a big white moon lighting up my chicks neighbor hood in East El Paso on a summer day. Days when you’re figuring out life and chicks..........
Totally Amazing. I was in 10th grade when this album was released or maybe I was in 11th? Either way there was nothing that sounded like this. Raw.. powerful. Unbelievable how this was. I remember pulling over on the side of the road and just thinking “holy shit”. This album ended up being so fucking good.
Say what you will about Dave Coverdale ...but that mfer can sang some rockin Blues..and Jimmy Page..well .it just goes without sayin..GOAT that he is on guitar..this gives me chills 😊😢❤
mandla khanye, this is jimmy page best album after led zeppelin(including the two albums with robert plant),in my opinion, it's even better than robert plant solo albums, unfortunately,in was released in 1993 when the music world was defined by grunge,coverdale/page is a magnificent album,60 minutes of music without a single weak track in it.
WHEN MY LIFE ENDS WILL YOU REMEMBER ME.....................................................................................................................................................................
Everything about Jimmy Is a treusure. Incredible Guitar Hero!!!!
one of the most underrated rock albums of the 90s.
the best voice of hard rock of all time...look at mistreated with deep purple

Such a great song,,,
You sense the desperation in his voice 👏
SIBLY, Tea for One, I'm Gonna Crawl and this one. Greatest blues songs ever written and performed.

@@BatroAgencia thank you man
An Incredible perfomance of Page and Coverdale!! and the drummer !! O-M-G !!! lots of love👍👍 for them !!
Smoking hot tune, Coverdale is in the realm of great rock singers and Page well hell puts his stamp on this staple...
This is such an underrated song on such an underrated album.
KY! You recognized AWESOME. Thank you.
Maybe the best 'hook' I've ever heard! Great vocals, incredible guitar. Love this song.
The best ever hard blues song!!!
My favorite song of this album. It's so touching. "My heart is breaking for ya"...!!! Coverdale & Page kick asses with this...!!!
It sounds like a one off followup to Led Zeppelin's "since I've been loving you"
Mine 2
Yes, for me is the best song of this album
David's voice and Jimmy's guitar shine !!✌💯
I think it's my favorite too, it's epic, kinda like I'm gonna crawl. Fantastic guitar work and singing
damn ! I love Jimmy in this as much as any Zeppelin !
you know what I'm tryin to say ! he was on fire on this album !
Never listened until tonight .. blew me away
Me too
I bought this CD because I was less than thrilled with Walking Into Clarksdale; I keep listening cause it's Effin' Good!
Me too. An interview of the 2 of them came up in my feed. I was like, oh yeah? Let me see that'll .
Led Snake Or Purple Page, Great Song Best On The Album!! 3:55 On Is Awesome
Absolutely Killer Album Wish They Made A Few More
Ok. 4th time listening. Wish j and d would do second album. And,r,love all yours too. Some things stick.
Happy birthday Mr Coverdale.
What a powerful song page simply killing it Coverdale keeping right up with him I pray they do another album
Page is retired. I don't get why people can't accept that.
😢my favorite post zeppelin song. Plant could never match these vocals
Great guitar and just a little reminder of how we love the blues
I dont know, don't count Plant out. Well, ok, I'll give you that now that I think it. The early Plant, like imagine this on Zepp 3, you know? Or somewhere in that Zepp 2-5 Era. But I will say Plant did a better job on Shake My Tree I think.
I saw Page and Plant live in ‘95. He could barely sing at all. Coverdale bothered to take care of his voice, whereas Plant threw it away.
Loved when these two matched up! Icons
YES!!! Sometimes in this world everything lines up perfectly. This was one of those times.

Oh that solo!!!
Julie Strauss **Very drawing in song**
OH indeed.
You have to catch your breath when its finished.
His best blues solo since SIBLY.... hands down.
IMHO.
YUP , SAW IT LIVE TOO
And the most underrated.l never find in àný of the Best guitar solo around, and I always blame them
❤DAVID COVERDALE, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ❤
A GREAT song. Magic.

My favorite song.
I can't pass a week without being here .this ìs the most underrated album and the most underrated solo.
❤JIMMY PAGE❤
INCREDIBLE ! FANTASTIC !
Outstanding solo!
The rift is so good
Man this intro gives me say hello 2 heaven vibes
❤So emotional ❤
One of the best - period!

The GHOST OF LED ZEPPELIN HERE❤
Opening blows me away.
I’ve read that Coverdale has the best blues voice. If that’s the case this song has to be up there as being best blues song.
Great song.
MAJESTIC !
coverdale..gillian....the voices of hard rock
Agreed. These guys are certainly two of the best ever.

Deep imagine of rock'n roll
This album is FUCKIN INTENSE.Wish there was another but then again only supposed 2 b 1
**Powerful Song**
Sing it baby 😍
Tremendo blues👏👏👏👏👏
You make my poor heart bleed!
One of the best Albums and Page confirms he made Led Zep n transformed Coverdale to sound jst like Plant
mandla khanye,

Coverdale will never sound just like Plant. But Coverdale truly nails it here in his own special style. He's a perfect fit for this LP. IMHO.
People who say Coverdale sounds like plant are the same people who think BRIAN Johnson sounds just like Bon Scott!!! They don’t!!!
Totally agree.
Stupid people...!!!
DC doesn't sound like Plant at all, but he does sounds like Johnson now and then
@@bringbackdeano 😜✌🏻💙🎶
Two totally different singers imo, 🍎 and orange 🍊

Super page and co...
Perfeito esse som
✨💥✨💥✨‼️
Woooo!
This should have been called Page/Coverdale!
👍👋🔥🤘👌
Its Like Peanut Butter n Jelly .
Solo on the B-Bender Tele.
Sounds like the opening act for Led Zeppelin but with the better Yardbird (for this version)
Wow
Hmmmm yes
I'm love
Anybody notice the similarities to the beatles i want you/she's so heavy?
A bit
Yes, and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, too.
Oh my.yall know
Nirvana of rock!
Don't leave me this way . , ? I don't believe I gave any one permission to write a song about my life.
Zep n Snake
!!!
Denny Carmassys Drums
Ah,crap. This playing when 22 year marriage was over. Broken. Recovery? Doubtful. All grains of sand.
seems that they forgot the bass...
Jorge Casas. RIP.
coverdale sounds too much like plant but thats probaly what makes it work in the first place
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. They say ...who THEY are I dunno
The only thing similar is that they both sing blues and rock.
