Silver and Gold Stacking MISTAKES to AVOID

- Silver and Gold Stacking MISTAKES to AVOID discusses a common mistake many newer people to silver and gold stacking make. One viewer recently commented on one of my community posts about stacking and expressed their frustration; however, they are stacking completely wrong and have expectations that are not in line with buying physical silver and gold. In addition, I discuss another opportunity presented by today's sponsor, Atha Energy Corp. Lastly, I provide a bonus mistake that I made when I first started stacking and am curious how many of you made the same mistake when you started buying silver and gold.

Who dumps that much money into something they don't take the time to understand? I'd say to anyone who has lots of money to invest in anything that you should take the time to research what you're doing before you jump in. Before I invested in any stocks or mutual funds I researched for quite some time. Even at that I still made mistakes, just not huge ones. The same thing applies to stacking. If you're going to buy gold and silver take the time to *learn* what you're doing before just doing
Well said!
Some people make money so fast it’s cheaper to pay someone like you to spend the time to do the research but rich people don’t have to be smart just good at making money
Honestly it was agreat wuestion.
Shows why all of us should questions things just like this.
Remember one thing though at least they have some.
It is a long game. With inflation I may never make a dime on metal. However, it gives peace of mind and it's fun!
you are right this is a long term game. I have been stacking for over 58 years now (I started in 1967) Jim
I've always believed stacking is supposed to be slow and steady and not buy one lump sum at a time.
Same. Also I don’t view (and believe no one should) gold & silver as an “investment”. I view it as an alternative means of savings.
unless you believe in fairy tales, slow and steady does not ever win the race
in the real world, you must strike (either buy or sell) when the iron is hot.\
everyone knows that you make hay when the sun shines not slow and steady.
I think the $16K guy is gonna be alright. Personally, I don't really focus on the price, because I'm not looking to sell. You don't take a loss unless you sell. I would tell the $16K guy to just focus on stacking right now... if he decides he wants to be a dealer, then he can slowly figure that out later. I think you're right regarding capsules... but I just like it anyway. It's therapeutic putting silver into capsules, and capsules into tubes whilst I contemplate life. Its cheaper than seeing a therapist. 👍🏾🤣😎
Silver and Gold are for the long term. Having said that, what's the difference between someone dumping $16,000 into it versus someone buying one ounce of silver and once ounce of gold? Seems to me it's just a matter of scale. If I had an extra $16,000 I'd absolutely buy gold and silver with it (for the long term, obviously).
I agree with them. We shouldn't be loosing all that premium on the sale
NVIDIA had a rough week recently. Before the drop I was up 100%. Still holding.

* not financial advice.
Love how stormy’s big regret is the $0.25 capsules he put his eagles in 🤣
Haha
Nah, his big regret is gonna be saying NVIDIA is no longer $1200 an ounce 😂
I'm new to stacking as well.
I started in february.
I bought a couple of gold ounces... Kruger Rands... and 5 kilo in silver and 400 maple leafes silver ounces. And one ounce of platinum.
I could sell it everywhere.
sure , you can sell it, but at what price? will this investment pay off for you
@@DrSchorInvestment? It's a hedge against inflation.
@@DrSchor depends on the point of time.
That's like me putting $16000 into a CD and expecting to not lose most of my earnings if I cash it in early...
Silver and gold is for long term savings and not for a quick flip sale and profit!!!!
Hey stormy, hope you are well. Gotta cost average. I'm still holding silver I paid $20 for I'm a buyer high or low. Buy buy buy
Stormy's hiring 🤔💰
Good information for the new and considering stackers. He should have looked at a gold or silver IRA 's out there spending that sum at once.
You can't expect to make tons of money everyone knows it takes years I bought a shit load of silver and some gold in 2020 premium were high I felt like Damm maybe I should not cleared my bank account and sold a bunch of stock however a few years have passed and know I've made a shit load of cash it took some time to beat the premiums back. But I'm a winner
Ha look at your loss buying a car
I'm at the atha break and my guess is your mistake was buying currency on your desk
Precious metals should be only a very small amount of your portfolio. Not your spending money or daily or monthly living expenses. If you can’t sleep at night or it’s on your mind 24/7 you are over your head or over leveraged. This isn’t financial advice.
If you think your going to get rich think again only the rich get richer and the little guy just needs to buy what you can afford and hold on for the bumpy road ahead. I only buy so I can have something to fight over when I'm gone from this earth we live on.
I think AndrewCummings is one of those greedy suckers who listens to the B.S. hype of silver and gold making people rich. Sadly, I have relatives who think the same way and no matter how many times I tell them precious metals are for personal savings and not for profit, it's always in one ear and out the other without any processing. I think someone really needs to have a sit-down with AndrewCummings and ask him what he's trying to accomplish with his money, because I suspect he's a day trader and not a real stacker.
Definitely don't buy if you think that you won't make you're money back if you need to sell anything don't buy high premium items just because they have low mintage or look nice because they don't always give a good resell profit
Never invest in anything that you are expecting to be able to profit quickly. Heck, I've invested $50K in an education fund for the grandkids that dropped down to $38K in 10 days. Now, after about 5 years, it's at about $60K. Any "Investment" that is promising a quick large profit is probably a scam, or a crime.
I watch KITCO PRICES EVERY DAY !! Only buy on the low dip !!!
Also there's a lot of discrepancies in your viewers comment first of all he says he's new to stocking there's lots of problems and issues with his comments but I'll just get into one
is this about staking gold and silver or collecting stocking for xmas, i am confused.
Never fomo
I'm not looking to buy and resell.I am looking to buy and keep for that day when it's needed.
you contradict yourself, you are not looking to sell yet you are looking to sell when needed, whats the dif
@@DrSchor I'm planning to buy and use for transactions if it comes to that in my lifetime.
lol I did 25k in 2 months
Can't even be mad at Andrew Cummings. Not even joking when I say, that was the name of the guy who married my ex wife. Probably just a coincidence, but funny none the less. So, if it IS the same guy, let me just say THANK YOU! Taking her after our break up was hard at first, but looking back, it was one of the best things to ever happen in my life. Now that you two are getting a divorce, you'll come to the same conclusion.

Watching this channel might have been the biggest mistake of my life 😊

Worse than that "episode" in Thailand?

Sweet Baby Jesus I'm 70 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Maybe I'll go to college and make something out of myself. Thanks for another .9999 fine video Matt and as always you get a 👍on the video. Life is good......God Bless
Thanks Hoff!!!!
I stack constantly and in small amounts that my budget allows. It fun, it builds over time. It right for me. I only put coins in capsules that I want to play with constantly. The rest are in tubes. I never sale, or haven’t yet.
Mistake one: paying high premiums on top of rising prices
I need an ounce of Nvidia for $1200 Stormy....😂
My mother loves that AI stock, for someone that is in there mid nineties is way ahead of her time.
Stacking is a fun way to save. I enjoy looking at my different gold and silver coins.
Glad the true is finally coming out about PMs.
I put all my silver eagles in capcles!!!!!
Get less than spot for Canadian maples
I agree completely with what you said, now give us a close up of the Han Solo bar. That thing is sweet!
Buy low...Sell high!
I’m glad that when I started stacking I watched lots of Stormy’s videos so I didn’t do anything like that.
Thank you!🙏🏻
When you are new in precious metal stacking or investing, slow and steady wins the race. You can always increase your speed in purchasing after you have a good foundation of knowledge to build upon. jmo for what its worth
Level-headed thinking, you Silver Stacking Freak, you!!!
Why the New bees just not get it ???
Not a mining video!!
If you don’t want to watch the information about the sponsor, don’t. I had the first 8 mins about the mistakes to avoid in the beginning.
Just picked up my first order of 75 oz Silver for 2500 how'd I do?
I mean you’re at $33 an ounce. Not horrible.

Great advice. I did something similar but bought in @ 23 an. oz. Hit all the new customer spot deals. Actually created an account for me and my kids and bought all I could at spot. Did lots of research before starting. The money I spent to get in was extra cash I needed to do something with. Not planning on cashing it in until retirement. (10years form now) Now I just try to buy the dips. Sticking with low premium silver with just a few collectibles. Have a goal. My goal is 1000 oz's. of silver and 20 oz. of gold. Currently setting at 700 silver and just 3/4oz of gold. Set your price on what your willing to spend and stick to it. If your bidding on ebay, only bid from reputable dealers and set your price. Let it go if you don't get your price. Dont be afraid of using high rebate credit cards but only if you can pay them off without accruing interest charges. This works well if you do it right.
Also there's a lot of discrepancies in your viewers comment first of all he says he's new to stocking there's lots of problems and issues with his comments but I'll just get into one
I dumped a lot more into stacking when I started 13 months ago, because I had money I'm afraid to lose in the bank. I keep my bank account as low as I did when I was 15. I'm no longer stacking, I'm stocking up on food and paying bills ahead. I'm lucky in that my metal is worth slightly more than I paid for it. Spot price is manipulated and is a joke. Silver Paper is now at 400X the amount mined this year...
Same here , I'm tired of the bull💩 manipulation of PMs as well, and the premiums and the excuses the dealers give you when you sell. I have around 500oz. of silver and 2oz. of gold, that I've amassed since 2017, but I'm not adding any more until silver drops back to the low $20s and gold to below $1,600.
I buy only for the silver not for the coin but I do love coins. I have bought a lot of my silver online in auctions and have bought at spot with shipping or under spot. I choose to pick up silver but not at outrageous prices but it’s a hard thing to control and not over spend. Now I have paid up on stuff I really want but most have been bought with the intent to sell. You have to be willing to get very early and have the cash to buy and the willingness to stop yourself from just bidding one more time or bid/buy with emotion. And have to be willing to take chances.
please gives tips on how you conquered the Univeral problems we all have to bid one more time with emotion, while taking chances at the same time. thank you so much for helping those of us with less experience than you. a you born with the intuition, or can anyone learn it.
@@DrSchor Willpower!!

Great advice!! Its slow and steady game. I think maybe newer stackers might wana cost average for a bit. See how it is. Great show!!
SILVER IS CRASHING
Jan 2nd 2024 Silver was at 23.95. It sits now at 29.90. That's over a 24% increase in 6 months. That doesn't look like a crash to me. In year over year numbers, Silver is up from 22.55 to 29.90 today, which is over 32%. Over the last 5 years, June 2019 to today, 15.29 to 29.90, which is a whopping 95.55% increase in 5 years.
Definitely not crashing unless you're a day trader. Then sure, it's crashing over that last few days....
LMFAO
Thanks for doing the heavy lifting for me, Kunk!
