Honestly from 45:50 you can just tell Ed is one of the best drum producers going. IMO, nobody has ever utilised drum breaks as well as him and you can see how unbelievably passionate he gets ramming them up and down on the console. Both are undeniable legends of their craft.
But that’s also kinda why I’m so sad that they don’t play stuff like iii’s front, daisy chain, bmw track anymore. Hearing what they do with those breaks live was an absolute spectacle

I got to see them Live recently. 2 days after I buried my little brother 💔It was a great experience despite the sadness I was feeling.Their music is touching and makes me emotional. Mad love to them and to all other Overmono fans.
@@sonix2982 I know this isn’t helpful but I honestly just got pulled to the side by a member of staff at the venue as I walked past the stage a few hours before the set, and he said to me that me and my friends are welcome to go up the stairs (which I think are usually closed off/security are there) and will be on stage. I think because it was being filmed they wanted people on stage and I just got lucky that he grabbed me as I walked past! But there are stairs next to the stage and I would say just keep an eye out for that/if they look open :)
Seen these two 4 times in the last year, from whp to the middle of a roundabout in Bristol they put on an incredible show! Their sets flow from crying your eyes out emotional to hard-hitting breakbeats seamlessly.

First time I watched this set I was blown away. It felt like I experienced every emotion during this set. I danced, I cried, I felt love and joy. I waited till the end to read all the comments because I didn’t want them to influence how I heard the set for the first time, but after reading them all I wasn’t surprised that it touched so many people the same way it touched me. i've seen them in San Francisco a couple of times - they played at the warehouse stage at the Portola festival. The bass was SO loud it shook the fucking rafters and pieces of the the building were falling on all of us, it was a dusty material that im sure wasnt safe. REGARDLESS it was the best set of that day - cheers to the @overmono_ boys for bringing us the heat! come back!

Have had the pleasure of seeing them live twice now. Coachella & CRSSD. Best part has been introducing friends to them and allowing them to experience live for the first time. This set was incredibly euphoric, excellent, and masterful. They are extremely talented and performed this set with great mastery. However, this drop and this part of the performance were, in my opinion, the highlight of this set.
By far, the most intricately put-together, massive set. With respect to Benny, I'd dare say this set remains unranked and matchless. Master piece in musical expression in my opinion. Kudos.
Had been listening to this set and on repeat, especially that new Hackney Parrot edit for the last few weeks ahead of Bicep's gig at Drumsheds knowing it was in their set too.... safe to say when they dropped it my hands were on my head absolutely loving it, nearly had a tear rolling as that build up was rolling. I fucking love Overmono! That sensual, euphoric build up and those basslines, the way the crowd reacts is what it's all about. Love it.
