I have to disagree with Tiff on the looks. This might be the best looking car on sale today in my opinion.
Jan-Michael Franklin Tiff's not known for his sense of style he just drives.

Alberto NineThreeTwoFour I think the Veneno looks horrible. The Sesto Elemento (I think that's how it's spelled) is an amazing looking car.
I love this Lambo. I do however, miss the older deep dish rear wheels of the earlier models. Just personal taste. :)

Baudewijn Berte luckily for us loyal top gear fans Jeremy James and Richard are filming a new show. Amazon is giving them a better budget for the show than bbc did and they will have 36 episodes spanning 3 years. Now top gear is going to be a one presenter gig.

Also worth well watching Roadkill from the motortrend stable btw, if you are into auto lunacy.

I don't agree on the critics on the paddles to be fixed on the steering column. To me that makes more sense than having them turning with the steering wheel. Okay, you usually don't shift on corners (that should be done before the corner is reached), but when you drive around slow corners like hairpins or in cities, you do shift on corners, and with turning paddles you never know where the downward paddle is. On the column it is always in the same place.
So in the cars I drive I very much like the paddles to stay fixed on the column.

I think Tiff is a great sports car driver but I have to disagree with him because one the client at our Gym has Lambo Hurican same color as the one in the video, it sounded super loud. And I love the crackling sound that the Hurican make from it exhausts.

Laurynas S. Nobody really hates the looks. Some people just hate because they know they'll never be able to afford one.
Schleberger Yea maybe 'hate' is not a word to use here, 'dislike' is more appropriate I think.
Laurynas S. It's growing on me, the colour seems to be hugely influential not like the Aventador which looks stunning in any colour.

Laurynas S. if you actually pay attention when lambo comes out with new cars, people actually always hate the looks. then the looks grow on everyone and they love them. when the aventador first came out people said it was a hideous hybrid of reventon murcielago and gallardo. now people think its one of the best looking cars of all time. i had a close friend who went through this exact change of opinions about lamborghinis.

Beautifully shot in a gorgeous scenery. the main shape of the car always reminded me of Lamborghini's Desto Elemento.

Conclusion should be key guideline for Huracán. It is clear that for "entry" model if you reach out to wider audience, you will have more money for more Lambo spirited cars. Like SV. I am pretty sure we will see more agressive versions, but "entry" model must be easy to drive for most of potential users.

The reason it's less edgy is because Lamborghini wants to sell more of them, and have more return buyers, if you get what I mean. And what's with this edgy craziness anyway.

Has Tiff ever lowerd his eyebrows or stop smiling for more that 5 seconds.. Ever? Not that he'd have any reason too as far as we're all concerned, but.. Tiff, you're top trumps in my book, we all have much love for ya, and your exuberant driving style! The whole fifth gear team for that matter!
I just drove one at Dream Racing in Las Vegas and before you bad mouth this car you MUST DRIVE IT! Nothing touched it while I was there. Unbelievable performance and handling. Just because something(car) is simpler in design please don't underestimate what it is capable of doing and what it was designed and intended to do. Drive It! You will fall in love with it!

The carbon ceramic brakes are not standard on the huracán they are optional.

I'd way rather have the paddle shifters mounted on the steering column rather than the wheel itself... Otherwise shifting often becomes confusing mid-corner (from my experience anyway)

it looks so good that when it first came out I thought this is the new aventador but then after some time I saw that its the new gallardo and it understeers badly and also if you put any other tyre than what lambo says you will heat up the awd system

You don't want to fuck around on that road. Clarence Drive is well known for the fatal accidents, plenty of cars in the sea around that stretch of coast, plenty of bikers maimed or killed. BUT, beautiful to take a slow cruise...I've done plenty of fishing along there, and many many picnics.
How would this fare against the 488 GTB?

If I had the money for Lambo I'll go for Gallardo spider with manual gearbox with no doubt!
This clicking metal to metal sound on every gear change an the rewarding from the good work with the pedals and the gear-stick will give me more excitement then this few milliseconds that double clutch gearbox gives!
The best comparison is the Lexus LFA and mentioned by Tiff Nedell the Ferrari 458 Italia. All the three have similar top speed(202mph), but most importantly, both(Huracan&LFA) have screaming N/A V10 engines whereas the 458 has a screaming N/A V8.

+ali al-dujaili Tiff's driven a LOT of supercars. I'd say he's pretty qualified to judge them.
What he means is that the looks aren't new or stunning. When it doesn't look much different from every Lambo made in the last 20 years or so, it's kinda boring to someone who drives a lot of high-performance cars. I think it looks very much like the Gallardo and I agree with Tiff; I'm not excited about its looks either because it doesn't look exciting. Especially not in matte black.

mariner raghav In the Western Cape, however it is east of Cape Town. It is the R44 between Gordon's Bay and Pringle Bay. Great roads but they are a bit too tight to be considered great driving roads. High wind speed is a problematic factor as well, quite fitting that they review a car named after a hurricane here.

Huh.. Sort of surprised Tiff would prefer the paddles move with the wheel.. I thought it was better to have them fixed, so that you always knew where they were, regardless of the wheel's position...
I agree with you on that. It's always good to know where the paddles are instead of having them change position
+bliglum It,s better if the paddles move with your hands. You don't want to be releasing your grip to search for a paddle particularly at high speed.
+andy elliott I think Lamborghini is moving towards the liking of the mass market where most who buy it are not engaging drivers, rather they r casual drivers that wanna flash their status. They wan comfort like dual clutch, wow factor like fighter jet start buttons and they don't drive like race driver with both hands on the steering wheel and I guess that is why the fix paddle position.
+bliglum I find it rather funny that Jeremy Clarkson voiced exactly the opposite of Tiff's opinion on this. Here's why I think they're different: Tiff's a racing driver. Clarkson is not.

This was around when Tiff started becoming a cranky old git. He used to give contradictory remarks on cars and everything from their boots to their a/c vents to their steering wheel design lol. Him and Plato bickering was funny

Love this car. It's super fast sexy and not over the top. To say the same guy loves the 458 looks but not this hurucan is just kidding himself. Hurucan all day. And the sound of this thing wooowwwww!

i think what Tiff is trying to say towards the end of this video is that this car feels more German (like audi for example) rather than a proper Italian supercar. It doesn't look dramatic enough , it does sound loud enough and doesn't certainly doesn't feel Italian enough!

I disagree about the paddle shifters. I prefer mine on the column, that way i know where they always are while i am steering. Always at 3 and 9 o'clock.
Fuel economy improved by 10%? That would be an increase from 8 MPG to nearly 9 MPG. Wow.
tiff said the the Huracun takes 3.1 seconds but a Car and Driver test actually made it in 2.5 seconds flat.

With the Top Gear drought I've had more time to watch and appreciate Fifth Gear. The production value has increased so much since I last watched and it's a damn good show now.

the Huracan is one gorgeous car! especially in that matte black!...if they depreciate as much as the gallardo did than i'll just buy one in 3-4 years for 120k lol...i see gallardos going for 75-80k right now which is ridiculous!!

citrano2012 i know...my buddy bought on had it for a few months did the GRR then sold it....it's definitely a bang for your buck but it cost too much to maintain...it's something you buy and keep for like 2 years then go for something else
