Sergey - Really love Your work and pictures You are creating - because of You i am switching to CANON, using now Sony A1 with 3 GM Glass + Sigma 50mm Art and Tamron 35-150mm, but the video with the 85mm 1.2 pushed me to change entire system :) picking R3 next week - and once it will be available also R1 :) , glass for the start is going to be RF15-35 f2.8/ RF 24-70 f2.8 / RF70-200 f2.8.
@@SergeyBidun Was little worried about the lens autofocus system. Because on internet, almost every place, they are writing that, autofocus becomes horrible after some usage or it gives softer images at 1.4, so basically it's useless....etc. 😭
hi.. do you think that this Lens it's gone be good for my rebel 7? I'm trying to be specialized in cake smashes so I will use it mostly for kids or toddlers
Can u share some imges from this shoot, i want to get this camera but sceptical being old camera but i am happy with my 6d mark 2.want to check resolution and DR
I know this is an older reply but I feel like they're two totally different beasts. From my experience the sigma art blows this lens out of the water. My Canon 1.4 was inconsistent and soft. It was a fun lens for the price but compared to the sigma 1.4 art I rented there is no comparison. The art was sharp wide open, very little fringing, and the AF was much faster and more accurate. But it's a much larger and heavier lens. Plus it's more than double the price (new).
Could you explain something to me? I have the same lense with a canon t7. I noticed the distance from what you are taking the shots, why do you get a good range? When I use the same distance to the model it's like as if i was using the the 'zoom'. For me to get a picture like that I have to get sooo far away from the person. How do you do it?
@@jdgozz It a canon 5 DSR (dsr, not dslr), its a "old" full frame. Get a 6d, 5d, 5dmk2 and 5dmk3 reflex camera or an canon eos RP or "R", all these full frame are really cheap now
@@SergeyBidun I don't know if the 80D is full frame. but I'll just ask to others if they really recommend using it on the 80D. thank you so much bro appreciate it 🙏🏼❤️
For beginners? That's wrong man this lens is used widely from professionals. it's not the lens that distinguishes the pro from a beginner!!! it is what he knows and his experience. Beginner means starting photography, and pro mean all my income are from photography. Just te clarify that most of you confuse that term.
Great!! You make it seem so seemless... when its not easy at all to direct models.
Love it!
Thank you for your feedback. Yes it's years of practice photoshooting and directing.
I have owned the 50mm f1.4 for several years now, great images. Almost as good as my vintage Takumars.
It's a very nice lens! Thank you!

Awesome, good Luck with your new gear! I hope you will create lots of beautiful memories with your new camera and lenses!
Nice Results and Poses ! 👌👍😊. I also bought f1.4 for EOS M50 before 2 days. Hope to get great Portraits !!

Are you using center point focus and recompose? Also with the one shot setting? If, so do you typically use this approach vs toggling the focus point?
7:16 ^_^
@4:03 I completely agree that the lens indeed does create bit soft images .
Yes it soft a little bit
In this case I believe a softer image renders better for females. I like it.
Hi,
do you like doing photoshoots in crowded places or do you prefer such secluded places?
answered in last live video
@@SergeyBidun thank you
Hello! What a great session, do you have the RAWs posted to download the file? Thanks man
Thank you for your feedback! No I don't have raw images for downloading.
Great job 👏 ! I’m gonna pick up this lens for my Canon M50 and a Canon Adapter
Thank you! Wow that's awesome, hope you can really put it to good use!
@@SergeyBidun already started using it it’s awesome !
I wanted to do the same thing. I’m still thinking on it.
Hi Sergey which camera did you use for this video ? thanks
On a full frame camera. I’m still using an older crop sensor and I prefer my 35mm f2.
hi.. do you think that this Lens it's gone be good for my rebel 7? I'm trying to be specialized in cake smashes so I will use it mostly for kids or toddlers
This lens works on all canon Dslr cameras. And shoot be good on rebel 7.
I needed to see this.. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Would you recommend this lens for the 90d or rather the 1.8 one?
I like more 50mm 1.4, it work with all Dslr canon cameras
do u have a LUT OU PRESET? off this Brown color
I don't have presets yet.

that coz of your cam might be this is full frame cam , in crop one we need to back little
Because your camera has a crop censor. My camera has full censor. So you need Step Back.

Да ето точно
Hi sir is this good for my canon eos m50? Is the image soft and not usable at f1.4 apreture and needed to be stopped down?
This lens going be softer then higher end lenses.
But this is best cheap lens for starting in portrait photography
Сергей, какой камерой вы снимали это видео?
Hello Eddie, the video was shot with Canon R6.
So nice videos ❤️
Glad you like them!
Which one should i invest in? The 50mm 1.8 or 1.4?
It's up to your budget. The 1.4 is better, but if you don't have budget for it then get 1.8
Can i ask if these lenses are compatible with canon 80D ?
Canon EF 50mm 1.4 lens compatible with all Canon DSLR Cameras including 80D.

I think Beginner is just a teaser to bring more people to the channel/video. It’s definitely as pro a lens as any.

I full agree!

people say this lens is old , has slow focus and it doesn't work aftersome time after usage
Yes it’s old and cheap compare to L Series. And still gives a nice bokeh for price.
Take picture with f1.4?
