READ THIS ONE! no need for adjustments or mods on this boat. I bought this exact boat thinking it could fit under 7ft trimmed to 83in. It did not from the factory. The top silver bimini mount was at about 84.5in. Told the dealer and they extended the cables all the way to the washers like these are supposed to be in under 10 minutes. Fits now, no removing mounts/post, no letting air out, nothing. My guess is that it is at about 82. It just touches my flaps that hang below the trim. But if your looking into a 190, go for the 195. My max speed has been 35, and engine spins fast to maintain decent speed. Hindsight 2020 i guess even though i knew this when i bought it...if you have doubts, just pony up like i should have done.
I did that with mine and I still can’t get it to fit without taking the bimini brackets off and letting air out. I’m taking it in for service and asking them to look at my trailer. I noticed after mid 2019, Yamaha started changing the trailer bunk location. Mine causes the boat to sit really high on the trailer. Others that have the newer positioned bunks said it saves about an inch or 2. My bunks sit inside the lowest strakes on the hull. They now started setting up the trailers where the bunks sit between 2 lifting strakes. The way mine are positioned makes it a PITA to get the boat centered on the trailer when loading.
My bunks are below first groove. The tallest point is the rear silver bimini mount is at 82". With the tower all the way down, there is 13.5 inches distance from the rear of the tower to where it sits when it is up. To explain differently, the pacman opening(
so i heard that 2016 year model is 19ft and i think the new ar is 19.2 ft. long. Can you please tell me exactly how long it is ? my garage is 19ft and i need to fit it in there. Thank you in advance.
@@FullyDriven1 hey, I lied... I just measured my garage and its like 18.5 feet. now i am trying to figure out if i can notch the stud in the back to get little extra space and see if i can angle it a little to see if it fits.. struggle is real. ..
Cali Valley I’m very happy with the boat however I have had some troubles with Yamaha warranty. I had some settlement cracks in the gelcoat and they refused to cover it and claim that from the pictures the dealer sent them… The settlement cracks are from some sort of impact which is simply not true. If you’re buying a used boat, the settlement crack should already have shown up if they are going to. If you’re buying a new boat… Good luck. It’s been a nightmare.
Keith H It’s a pain in the butt for sure. Unfortunately, the dealership didn’t stand on their word and make adjustments like they promised before I signed the contract.

Jamohr49 awesome, thanks for the feedback! I will def get with the dealer about that! Can you send me pics?

My garage opening only measures 6ft 9.5 inches. Maybe there is a small rim and tire I can use just to get it inside. This is a bummer.
I'm looking into getting same boat..how high is your garage clearance?
Ruben Dario 7 ft

That’s accurate. My garage is smaller than yours and it fits caddy cornered. You’ll be fine.

Mine is around 17.5, caddy corner is key for me. Good luck!
I’m looking at this boat, 2017, or new model, you happy with it? Any regrets or recommendations?

How much room is there to spare height wise with your adjustments?
Joshua Scott maybe 1 inch... not much
how wide is this at its widest point?
P JB the garage or the boat?
@@FullyDriven1 the boat w/ trailer. is it 8'8?
P JB 8’2
@@FullyDriven1 thank you for the help!
P JB anytime!
Did you remove the wires holding the tower?
ChrisB477 I did not, they seem very hard to get to
What is the height of your garage?
How many feet is your garage?
Josue Garcia 18 deep by 20 wide
My garage is only 17ft deep. That’s the boat I want. It’s a two car so it’s it’s very wide, I wonder if I can angle it in.
Josue Garcia I would think so. I can angle it even more if I need to. I still have room to walk on both sides.
FullyDriven1 very good. Thank you!
Josue Garcia no problem, good luck!
Yea I wouldn’t want to do this every time I take the boat out...

@@FullyDriven1 What "adjustments" do you expect the dealer to make to help the boat fit better?
Jason Ford before the sale... they told me they could adjust the bunks on the trailer but after they sale they said they couldn’t do it.
Kevin H.
So what kind of boat do you own and currently garage?
Dang. Maybe the sx190 would have been easier.
Bill Sangster for sure but I really wanted the wakeboard tower since I have a young boy who will utilize it.
too much work
100% a pain
