I’m so glad you Enjoyed my request and Rolling Quartz’s music! A few people have given y’all some info about them already but I’d like to clarify their new EP comes out June 19th and they have an online concert here on UA-cam on July 14th! Can’t wait to see you guys react to more Rolling Quartz!
Thanks for the support on Ko-fi and recommendation!!!🙏 and wow that’s really cool !! an online concert! 😮😮😮
@@XplorationXpedition my favorites are guitarist hyunjung (Blonde and Blue and Bassist Arem Red and Black)
@@XplorationXpedition Azaleas and Sing Your Heart Out are also 2 more amazing songs by Rolling Quartz who just toured the USA
I saw these girls in Chicago. Very impressive live!! They blew the roof off!! The bar staff was looking at each other in disbelief. They engaged the crowd and their solos were awesome ! #rollingquartz
These girls have been marketed brilliantly on UA-cam. Really like these girls
Jeyong, the group's vocalist, is also a vocal teacher and is the one who teaches K-pop singing.
Rolling Quartz songs, whether originals or covers, can become earworms in a hurry! They really know how to put stuff together and make it memorable!
I found them a month or two ago and fell in love immediately. They don't have a ton of music yet, but a new EP is going to be released in July.
For those checking out this reaction video, Rolling Quartz has a parody poster for Star Wars Acolyte on their official sight. The girls poses with light sabers. WOOT!
They are AWESOME! You need to check out their other songs. Wait till you see their live performances - JaYoung the lead singer is great at getting the crowd involved, and it's obvious she is doing what she was born to do.
RQ is a fantastic band. Not quite as technical as some of the Japanese bands but they are so easy to listen to. I can't get enough. They can pull it off live too. They have done a few live streams on UA-cam which sound great.
I saw them in Seattle in May of last year and they are such sweet Ladies!!!!! Their debut song (Blaze) is quite good, also (Azalea)!!!!! Keep doing what you are doing!!!!! Thank you!!!!!
The official live is good too
Love Rolling Quartz, they have a new EP coming up in the next few weeks. Very excited about that. Really enjoy seeing you both react to these bands. It brings back the amazement of hearing the first time.
Aw thanks that’s so sweet!
Amazing band.
Thank you so much for your rolling quartz reaction ❤
👍👍Rolling Quartz is a very talented band. Great performance and reaction. 🖖❤
Solid pop rock.
Here's a new band (for you) to try - Bridear and their brand new single "Still Burning". Album dropping soon.
Bridear is an all female Japanese band (you know how that goes) that have been around for a while and have a number of great tunes.
Another to try is Aldious (they've been around for a while, again all female Japanese band, what do they put in the water?) "Dominator" or "We Are" are good choices
And Trident (all female 3 piece band from ...Japan. Seriously what do they put in the water?) "Spoopy" or "Cry Out" are good starting points
Both of you bring something refreshing to reactions. Maybe I am just a fan of your synchronized head bopping. 😂 Definitely growing to be a fan. Reach out to a few reactors in the Asian reaction community like Dicodec. Ryan Mear or Party Like a Rockstar. It’s always great to see fresh faces added to this community.
Thank you!! 😁 and we will check them out!
I used to like him but Party like a Rockstar's gotten to be too big for his britches. He thinks he's now some kind of metal and rock god who has the final word on what's great and what's not. I saw his video on Rolling Quartz and was pretty much put off by his reaction.
I still watch his videos because he does have interesting guests most of the time.
And don't forget Wave Potter and The Champ of Medium, as well as Tank the Tech.
@@eatsmylifeYT Yeah, I recall him being down on them because they didn't compare to.... the best Japanese rock groups on the planet. Sheesh, never be a new group with him because he will just be meh unless you're the absolute best immediately. Pretty much the last video I watched of his.
I ove the and am so gad that one of their young female fans gifted the bass player a Draculaura doll from the Monster High collection. Yeah this semi retired guy works in a toy department restocking and I noticed that right off.
🍺🥴🤘🏻
Found them a couple weeks ago now one of my favs.
Arem - bass
Hyunjung - guitar
Iree - guitar
Jayoung-vocals
Yeongeun- drums
K-Rock is indeed a thing. This is my favorite K-Rock band ... a WONDERFUL group of girls! This band produces some really unique music ... it is not J-Rock and because of all the culture deeply rooted in pop, they struggled for recognition and even validity in their home market. Most of the fan base is actually international ;) . K-Rock is expectedly more commercial sounding than most of the Japanese counterparts.
Jayoung can definitely belt it out - she is a vocal coach in Korea as well - but all the girls are quite talented. Iree (red hair with the permanent grin) was originally listed as the lead guitarist but now it seems more like her and Hyunjung share that task. Arem on bass seems tough at first but she is actually goofy and lovable. Yeongeon the drummer seems to serve as the love interest ... for everyone :p ... she is the shyest and quietest of the group.
Their latest song is Stand Up! and there is an MV and a performance video.
This is a great band and apparently they are coming to Australia in September. 😊
Yes, Rolling Quartz will be touring Australia 🇦🇺 for the first time this September 2024. Two gigs only - Melbourne & Sydney. I've got my ticket to see the RQ 💎 ladies in Melbourne. Can't wait to see them Live! 😊
@PopRockMetalFan I'm in Adelaide but I hope they sell out and you have a good time. I think the Melbourne venue is pretty flash isn't it 🤔?
@@stephenchigwidden7504Yes the concert venue is at Crown Melbourne which is upmarket and located in the CBD. The concert is at Therapy Nightclub - one of the premier nightclubs at Crown. I'm unsure of Therapy's capacity though.
@PopRockMetalFan well I hope even if the capacity isn't great that the plushness will make them happy they are there they might even be staying there.
Very talented band. They definitely fill the rocker boxes. The quality of rock/metal from Asia is awesome. Huge Lovebites fan amd ;oe their non-metal appearance, but it's also cool to see a very talented band embrace their looks backed by attitude and old school rock vibes.
so is it Co=Fee of Coffee
Please, please! Never stop the solo, please!! 😉🤟🤟 Good react again guys. They are very good, no more words! See you! 🤟🦊🇯🇵🔥🔥🔥
Sorry! I am bad at pausing 😩 our kids came running downstairs so I paused it🥲
@@XplorationXpedition 😁😁 I understand. Keep going!! You guys do it very well! 🤟🦊🔥🔥🔥
@@foxgod4466 thank you 🙏💜
Hi ! Check the song "Rock and Roll Paradise" with drum solo ( oficial live vídeo) os amazing!
I hate to dump more stuff on you, but just after I first heard Rolling Quartz and was gorging myself in their music, I found yet ANOTHER female hard rock band from Korea named DIH and they were fire !!!!! And I'm not done yet...........while watching DIH perform "Enough", there was a suggestion for yet ANOTHER new female band, this time from Japan. They are very new, less than a month old and they are named NEK, and wouldn't you know it, they are fire also. Their first song "Get Over It" is pretty catchy and his a slightly different vibe to it. And lastly, when you have time, check out Rolling Quartz's spicy cover of the Italian group Maneskin's song "Zitti E Buono". Lead vocalist Jaeyoung actually learned enough Italian to sing the lyrics. I'll stop now, lololololol Great reaction !!!
DIH has officially broken up and ceased production on their album :( . The existing music is great and Sena is still doing covers. Jayoung of RQ also performs the BRATS song Kimarigoto in fluent Japanese.
@@PANIC_aka_PinD I really had no idea they had broken up. Thanks for letting me know. Jayoung has such a distinctive voice in the lower registers and her stage presence is just off the charts. Having some fluency in other languages is a nice thing to have.
@@mikeat2637 Yeah, the announcement was on the book ... of faces for DIH :p .
Just a couple of months ago RQ's Jayoung was on the Korean version of the Masked Singer ... you can find it here. EVERYONE knew it was her before she was unmasked. Her voice is so distinctive. The comments for those particular shows are mostly in English and quite funny.
Jayoung doesn't really learn the language as she just learns the song. We discussed her foreign language songs when I interviewed them.
@@PANIC_aka_PinD That's pretty cool. I had no idea about that. There's a a lot of mistaken info out there. Thanks again. It's funny, but when I got re-interested in Asian music a while back I had come across the Okinawan group Stereopony and listened to a couple of songs. I liked their sound and I was looking for more when I had found out they had broken up about 9 or 10 years ago, lol.
@@mikeat2637 Japanese pop/punk? Try Dizzy Sunfist ( "そばにいてよ" - aka Stay with Me ) or the band Special Thanks ( DOUNARUNO!? ). Similar sounding and both still active.
Oh, heck yeah, I am here for some RQ. Just caught your RATATATA reaction by chance and enjoyed it, so went to see what else you had reacted to and see one of my favorite acts at the top! Let's goo!
Thank you!!
Thank you for the Rolling Quartz reaction. I recommend Rolling Quartz’s Azalea, Sing your heart out, and Goodnight. These songs are not Rolling Quartz's original songs, but cover songs. But it will be a good K-rock introduction for you.
Nice recommendations for Rolling Quartz - three great covers of three Korean artists. Love all three of these RQ 💎 Music Videos.

Rolling Quartz has a HUGE following in the US and Europe. When they did their limited 8 city tour in the US, they sold out all of them. From interviews, they loved here, and want to come back as soon as they can. I found them about 6 months ago. Fell in love with all of the young women. So musically talented, and as seen in other comments, very warm hearted. They have not let their recognition get to their heads. Very humbled they are. Hyunjung half blue hair, stated, she was soooooo surprised there were sooooo many Daidem's, fans, in the US. Even their support staff said, they loved here in the US. Keep checking out Rolling Quartz.
Don't pause the video on guitar solos. It is very disrespectful to the musician ask any content creators.😢
Oh no so sorry! meant no disrespect. I’m terrible at pausing 😅
In Korea, if you're ugly, you won't get into show business at all.
Yeah and they’re definitely pretty. 😍
This is terrible!🥴 This band is on the level of Japanese junior high school students! No, is this statement disrespectful to ASTERISM, who debuted in junior high school?😆
Not sure why you had to be so rude/disrespectful. Music is subjective but calling them Terrible is so rude…. Just a simple “this isn’t my cup of tea” would’ve been fine but to call them terrible is WILD 😂
@@konixcsgo It came up as a recommendation, so I just took a look and gave my honest opinion! I would like them to grow more out of the amateur level based on these evaluations!
