Three hot dogs Chris... (...shaking her head...) The countdown begins! It's going to be an adventure for sure! Extremely grateful to this community for it's support and hope to meet some of you along the way!
It's funny you said "groovy" and "I dig it" in one video. Great equipment upgrades. Look forward to seeing your reviews on the lights, along with your travels out west.
Great video Chris. I asked in the first video of yours that I ran across who made that front bumper. I’ve now got my answer. I love it. I’ll look into where I can purchase one. I’m enjoying these videos very much. ✌🏼
Chris the light look great, now to find out the improvement in night vision... The older I get the less I enjoy night driving, I much prefer the early morning hours.
As you travel alone a winch would be a nice piece of kit! I live out west, you might want to wander around Canyonlands National Park in Utah, beautiful scenery.
You know, you can fit some six inch wide, six feet long, plastic water pipe (easy to custom make yourself) to the passenger side of the roof rack (you will have to get some stand offs from the hardware shop because of your rooftop tent) with a small tap at the back (and an upside down filler tap at the other end) so you never have to lift and pour your water container. Remember to flush the pipe regularly with tap water unless it's just for showering, putting out a campfire, or other non drinking uses.
Nice video! I love Ok Auto 4wheel drive! Bought all my ARB lights from them last year. Also bought my duel compressor to mount under the hood. Please send an update on the lights you purchased! Looking forward to seeing some western videos from you soon, PS some good OL Alabama chow chow turns those hot dogs into Dream DOGS! Try it you might like it!
Chris- instead of a tyre carrier have you considered installing a heavy duty hinge replacement for the tailgate instead? They are lighter and cheaper and still provides mounting options on the hinge....
I invested in jw speaker evolution 2 headlights, after less than 2 years the anti flicker harness failed, jw warranty is just 1 yr. Just a heads up if you plan on buying led headlights.
I invested in JW Speaker headlights & fog lights 5 years ago. One of the headlights failed after 3 years (really my fault for not running an anti-flicker harness or soldering a capacitor...the PWM must have cycled the light millions of times). JW Speaker sent me a PAIR of their latest lights (the Evo J at the time), and sent me a refund check for the difference in MSRP between what I paid for the original lights and the new set.
LOVE the new lights, Christo! That’s great news about Jennifer reaching her goal! Where can I get one of those Team Hunt shirts that you’re wearing? 😃👍🏻
Oh c’mon Chris! Hot dogs with ketchup? What are you, 6 years old? Hot dogs require mustard once you reach 12ish. I’m disappointed Chris. You’re my hero on so many ways, but hot dogs with ketchup hives me pause. 😉
Hi Chris….love your channel. I thought you received some LED cube lights in your first care package? I'd been waiting for you to utilize those, any reason you didn't or haven't yet?
Did those lights come with opaque covers? Reason I ask is that in PA, and in possibly other states too, uncovered auxillary lighting must be mouted more that 12 inches apart to be legal for on-road use. If not, then they must be covered at all times on the highway. If you have covers on them it's a non-issue. Yours look a little tight from here. Enforcement seems to be sporadic, but I am hearing about happenning it more and more probably due to the fact of people running them ON all the time nowadays.
Hey Chris, aside from an all metal construction...and a place to mount lights, what are the pro's to the Pronghorn bumper you have chosen? It's so very similar to the stock bumper (profile, shape, size) that the price doesn't seem to match the benefits.
Hey Chris...for the humor - I was watching this episode today and when you were making coffee and set your timer, Siri set the timer on my phone at the same time. Is your coffee done yet?

Dirty Harry would not approve of those hot dogs
Really looking forward to following along on your westward journey! All the Best
Great timing for the bumper and the lights as I am shopping this week for a bumper and lights.. Will give these items a look.
Thanks for sharing.
Love the videos. If I may......
A winch is 10x more important than off-roading lights. You really need to invest in one.
This!!

One thing is always true when installing mods on your rig, it always takes longer than expected. New bumper and lights look good!
Great video Chris.

Those lights look MAD. Hello from Australia!
I love that you are rocking LL Bean slippers (the same ones I have) while working on your Jeep.
The Pronghorn bumper definitely works!

You can always turn on those lights to get you out if you get stuck.
Lmao!

Bumper looks good!
Did the steel bumper and LED head/tail/fog light upgrade myself. What a difference in visibility for night driving.

We all get a hyphen, enjoy the journey inbetween.
It's terrible to wait a week for another video :( ... We want more video uploading :P ;)
Lol, when you asked Siri to set the timer for you, my phone set the timer as well! Lmao
Godspeed to you and Jennifer too. looking forward to your videos on the westbound trip
Thank you Jorge!
I love that bumper
LED Headlights are my number one upgrade/safety recommendation. You can really see how bad the stock headlight is in this video.
I second that. The pre-2017 stock lights are... well I have nothing good to say about them, especially traveling the back roads of Vermont.

You need some Frank's Hot sauce to go along with the ketchup on those dogs.

My sleeping bag smells like onions...
So....why not use the lights you received from your first Get Lost package?

Really, OK 4wd didn't install it for you. that sucks.
😎👍
can u give me the name of the cabins u stayed at when u were in the new river gorge
Can you please begin a count of how many hot dogs you eat in a week? Month? Year?
Hey Chris...for the humor - I was watching this episode today and when you were making coffee and set your timer, Siri set the timer on my phone at the same time. Is your coffee done yet?
4:37 On my phone, Siri set a timer for 4 minutes.
No cheese on those dogs???
Hey I am sure you have Ben asked a lot but what stove is that you use? The one with the blue legs.
It is a Tembo Tusking Cooking Skottle (and they are awesome!)
Jennifer Langille it looks awesome. Thank you!
Ketchup on a hotdog!!!! :/

It is a Tembo Tusking Cooking Skottle (and they are awesome!)
They're pretty cool! Grew up with these in the 80s in South Africa.
Where did you get your tool kit pouch?

I like Pronghorns JK bumper, but for the life of me I can't get over how ugly the Tacoma bumper they offer is.
In the next video, please have Jennifer pull an onion out of your sleeping bag.
I just snorted coffee out of my nose because I just bought us an onion yesterday!!!
chris- wear safety glasses when working on your jeep. better safe that sorry.

That's one ugly bumper!
