I agree adding heat to your deep conditioner is definitely a game changer! I need to get my hands on that deep conditioner I've heard so many great reviews! You should do a wash-n-go with the Miche Collection!!
You're beautiful ! I have low porosity hair and deep conditioning with heat has been a game changer. The product doesn't get into my hair unless I add some heat, I use the eleganty bonnet hooded dryer.
I just want to say you are beautiful!! 🥰 I finally started taking care of my self, soul, body and hair 😌 honestly hair care is very confusing and soo much that goes into it and sooo many products out there I'm sure ill get the hang of it some day lol this was very helpful by the way thank you 😁
Girl I’m here with low porosity hair without a hair dryer lmaooo. I need to pick one up though bc im planning on doing the two step protein treatment. Also girl how do you not have more subs, these videos are super clear.
I'm so glad that I researched blow dryers for low porosity hair. I have the same Jar of Shea Butter w/Manuka Honey. Thank you for giving details about the 4 ways to apply heat to our hair. I will definitely be ordering the thermal heat cap & the hooded dryer just to see if it works on my low porosity hair plus I'm anemic & my hair won't grow past my neck & my goal is bsl. Some random electronic music plays (not your background music) over what u are saying from 4:15 to 7:25. This doesn't seem intentional though. Unfortunately u were giving some good tips when it cut in.
Yess tell them the struggles of having low porosity hair ... I have similar hair type as yours and just like say you really inspire me on giving natural hair tips and diy hair mask and prepoo I recently made a curl cream and my followers are raving about it
Why am I just now seeing this video. Do you wash out your conditioner with warm water or cool water? I’ve read low porosity hair doesn’t have a shock factor so the cool water will make your hair not hold moisture.
I always rinse with warm water! Low porosity hair thrives on warmth. Since our cuticles are already tightly bound, adding cool water won't allow the cuticles to open up. As opposed to using warm water, it helps open our cuticles allowing moisture to make its way in! 🙏🏼
When you apply the thermal heat cap or just apply heat to your shower cap, how long would you where the cap or would you apply the heat to the shower cap?
Hey love would you recommend using heat or a steamer? I have not had success using a steamer because it doesn't cover the entire head. Do you feel heat is better than steam?
Yes!! Without a shower cap, you’d just be drying the deep conditioner on top of your hair. The shower cap creates a moist, humid environment so your hair can soak in all the goodies 😌
Yes! Exactly what @kelloggzz said! Wearing a shower cap or plastic cap helps keep the product moist, and allows it to penetrate into your hair. When you go in the dryer as is, the mask will dry in your hair.
Do you deep condition your hair every week? Because i am low porosity and i deep condition every week and i’ve been wondering if it’s okay for me too do that because i don’t want my hair too get over loaded with moisture
Hmmm,I wonder if I put a plastic cap, aka sweat, with my braids will open up the cuticle for the product .anyways I’m dee conditioning now with my bonnet dryer thank you for this vid
instead of doing that , maybe try putting the bowl with your deep conditioner to float in a bowl of boiling hot water .Leave it sitting while you shampoo and condition . I do that and it heats up the product indirectly ! You apply it in the shower and there ya go :)
@@curlelia alright thank I'll just try it myself and see if not I have a handle dryer that I lost the comb to so even if it doesnt work I can still use it
I purchased my hothead deep cap last year and I have been using ever since, I love it
Please which one ? I want to give my mother a gift for deep conditioning... So lost with all those things, steam, dryer, bonnet etccc thanks
@@karine8738 you can get one from Sallys Beauty. It’s called “Hot*Shot*Tools” by GOLD N HOT. It’s a Jet bonnet dryer attachment.

Is it okey to use a normal conditioner to deep condition? Like the regular ones conditioner that pair up with your shampoo?
You're beautiful ! I have low porosity hair and deep conditioning with heat has been a game changer. The product doesn't get into my hair unless I add some heat, I use the eleganty bonnet hooded dryer.
I noticed when I diffuse my hair with styling cream, my hair is more manageable

you can use any of these options and you'll get great results love! Thank you!! from your mouth to God's ears
When using a blow dryer to a plastic cap or shower cap, how long do you have to use it for?
Thank you for the reminder completly forgot that I had a blowdrier attachement 😂 Will use it on my next wash day
Can't you just use plastic bags from like Walmart cause I do it but I put 2 bags on

Yes girl, nobody but us get the struggle! I might have to check those out!! I'm always here for a new curl cream & diy mask! 👀
I can send you some on instagram
I love your videos!! I also have low porosity hair so I’ll be using heat in my next deep conditioning session 😉♥️
Hi 🙋🏾♀️
If you want to use option 3 the bonnet dryer...do you put on the see through cap you have on?
I have the same hot head cap! Love it!
Me too! Lol exact same one !
Can I just deep condition with a shower cap and use the head from my head?
How often can we do it?

how long should i blow dry it for ? with the cap
I have low porosity hair and my curls were ok, but then I dye my hair and my curls are so dry and frizzy and ugly. I really need to try this
How much time heat be applied with hair dryer on plastic cap
Hey love would you recommend using heat or a steamer? I have not had success using a steamer because it doesn't cover the entire head. Do you feel heat is better than steam?
It's better to deep conditone on wash days . Steaming is more for adding moisture to ya hair throughout thee week
I just sit in the sun for 30 minutes or do something in the garden
I wish it was hot enough to do that here! I'll try that in the summer! 👀
Should I wear a shower cap with my hooded dryer?
Yes!! Without a shower cap, you’d just be drying the deep conditioner on top of your hair. The shower cap creates a moist, humid environment so your hair can soak in all the goodies 😌

You can use your dyson by adding the straightener attachment and then putting it over that
I have Saran Wrap. Can I use that too as long as I utilize my blow dryer?
Does this work for leave in conditioner?
I wouldn't recommend using heat with a leave-in conditioner. Definitely do use it with a deep conditioner!
Omggg I’m using that on too
What is this music around the 4:35 mark? Lol
Hi beautiful 💓 I Have a question do I have to wet the thermal cap before putting in the microwave?
Do you deep condition your hair every week? Because i am low porosity and i deep condition every week and i’ve been wondering if it’s okay for me too do that because i don’t want my hair too get over loaded with moisture
For low porosity, deep conditioning weekly is perfectly fine. That’s about how frequent I have to do it!
But don't use the heat weekly, because it can damage your cuticles
Hmmm,I wonder if I put a plastic cap, aka sweat, with my braids will open up the cuticle for the product .anyways I’m dee conditioning now with my bonnet dryer thank you for this vid
What you prefer in all these ?
Beautiful hair 👏🏽, I’m next
What heat setting are we supposed to use?
I use medium heat!
Why would you brush your wet hair? Wouldn’t that break it even if it’s damp?
smh
@@naomikelly6466 lol
Hey girl, loved your content! how often would you recommend deep conditioning with heat? Once a week or everytime you wash your hair?
Hi love! I do it every time I deep condition! ❤️
Is morracan oil bad for your hair?? I heard that it dryes out curly hair
Where did you get that brush ?
How long do you keep the hot head cap on?
I warm up my deep conditioner in the microwave… is that bad?
I personally haven't done that, but I wouldn't recommend it. It might mess with the efficiency of the product!

What about a steam cap?
I haven't tried one, but now I'm curious 👀 do you have one that you recommend?
