LOL Growing up I had a full size old fashioned metal chair hooded dryer that we used growing up. My mom would wash and roll my hair and I would sit under the dryer and read a book.
Great review on the Hot Head! I've known about it since 2014 or 2015. I have low to normal porosity hair, and I use a hooded dryer to deep condition and dry my styles, since it works for me. The results from using the Hot Head on your head are amazing, and your hair is retaining length based on your consistent hair regimen.
Important to check how strong your microwave is......I had one and I guess I didn't adjust the power enough and it started to burn. Got a new one and I really like it.

Thank you so much for putting me on deep conditioning! The first I used it I had asked for what all brings out my curls in a shop and the lady gave me a few products that helps. Turns out one was the deep conditioner mask. I've never used one before but once I used it, I noticed a huge difference once I put it in and rinsed it out. I felt those curls activate immediately and now that I know how to use it properly, I just love it, I love them and it smells SOOOOOO good!
Bri Simone, it is actually not good to heat up products because it actually suck out the protein in the product so I don't recommend doing that! It sounds amazing though!
Omg. This looks way better and easier than what I've been doing. I've been putting in the deep conditioner, putting a shower can on then blow drying on low for 30 minutes

This is my 2nd time using matter of fact I'm using it right now. I really loved that it worked last time I used it. I felt like my conditioner works so much better than sitting under a heating cap. That looks really awesome. I definitely want to try it out. I hardly ever use heat in deep conditioning because it's too much lol: hair, plastic cap to keep it all together, hot towel, and another bigger plastic cap to keep the towel from dripping. I've only done it a few times, and it felt like I maybe I don't have the weight of the world on my shoulders...but definitely had it on my head 😂. My mom gave me dryer a few years ago, not the kind you mentioned in this video, but one that looked like a shower cap with a hose connected to a heater that looked like a little briefcase. I never got around to using it and ended up losing it in moving a little while later 😬. I've kept meaning to get another to get away from the whole heavy head deep conditioning, but I think I'll give Hot Head a try instead :)
Wendy Moseley oh yeah, when I've done the towel and plastic caps it's worked, it's just that it would just be too much stuff on my head=hurting my neck and making me feel like Id tumble forward from the weight when I'd like bend my head down to look at my phone or whatever I'd be doing lol.

I purchased this heated cap and followed the directions for heating. Heat lasted 11 mins. I am sooo disappointed. The company won't let you post on their web site or on their Facebook page. Lesson learned.

I'm thinking of getting this for my mother. She has very coarse hair from her dad's side, specifically her grandmother from trinidad and tobago. I know she can have pretty curls but she liked using brazilian keratin until i told her how dangerous it is to use. She still wants to have straight hair but ill see if she wants to go curly again

I don't have one myself, but I've seen Bianca continue to use this cap in more recent videos made months after this one. And I see no reason why it would do less than a hooded dryer.
