Great ideas from Young people. Absolutely necessary!!!😊
Great talk! Loved the idea "it is about development not dominance" which is quite what the whole world needs right now
I was just wondering about this topic and looking it up, found it instantly. So awesome! A good talk.
one of the best guide for learning I've seen in TED
Love his book!
Glad to hear he has one - this one really kind of spoke to me
Great talk! I loved it
Helpful talk.😊
I find that using more of your senses while you learn puts an extra emphasis on the material....
This brings up an intriguing question on game theory.
What do you mean? Thanks.
whos here because of online school
1) make a chip to learn anything
2) put it in your brain

Metacognition
Dont practice same thing

Make learning a struggle
His eyebrows sure do catch one's eye.
Someone explain in a summary
I watched this hoping it'd be more insightful than his book 📙 or make me feel differently about the hours spent reading it...
Neither was that deep, insightful, nor impactful.
The information is interesting at best, but it's rarely packaged in a way that really explains why we should care, how and where to USE the material, and how it'll impact our life.
Tell us why the "New Smart" matters...enroll us in wanting to be new smart before listing what it means.
How these new habits will impact our life etc...
He said, you gonna make much more money, and be a better dad too meanwhile
I'm here because I'm trying to get better at taiko no tatsujin
EIGHTH
don’t really care.
Question: is this information NEW, or just repetition of past knowledge?
purchasing this book with impulsive move in book store afterward It is considering a bad deal, the idea wasn't persuasive or adequate explaining the connection between emotion and learning; however, fortunately, I do have practical experiences on what the speaker is trying to say in his book.
Motivation is really important especially pure one!! it will help you go through all of depression and frustration of the goal(skill) you obsess and crazy about!
Last comment the book is not recommended to have one! it has plenty of room to enrich its content!! lack of evidence! rough reasoning!
Agreed.
The book was mediocre at best. Interesting concept... Sub-average delivery (exactly like this talk).
I read 50+ books a year for the last nearly 7 years and this is the first book
I've thought was poorly delivered enough to actually post my opinion online.
@@aaronmludin Any advice on one can develop the reading skills like you? How did you start your journey. Looking to improve my reading and learning ability. Thanks for your reply in advance.
TED talks have become Ted comments now

Fourth. Love this.

FIRST
We didn’t know the vase because of analogy, we knew it because we were given the answer and used process of elimination. This guy has good intentions but he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He shouldn’t be standing there he should be at a college campus.
Second :)
