- A huge blast ripped apart the center of Kharikiv, Ukraine’s second largest city. A man was shooting a selfie video when a missile struck, and miraculously survived. But could Russia’s military invasion be crumbling from within? At least 300 soldiers are said to have surrendered, and others are refusing to fight. The brave citizens of Ukraine continue to confront the invaders, and are blocking roads with burned out cars, sandbags, old tires, and throngs of people.
this is so sad. people should not go through this. it hurts to know that many innocent lives have been stolen.

Just WOW, The heart of those people giving food to a captured Russian soldier who is invading their country and having him call home. Just incredible and at the same time touching. Humanity has ways to show us how to be human, except Putin can't see those ways.

The Russian soldier being given food, drink, and permission to call home from the other side fills me with so many conflicting feelings that it’s hard to describe.
Because the citizens of Ukraine consider their own government the enemy they have been killing their own citizens for over eight years since the east decided by a referendum to become part of Russia

Ukraine military did the same w/ their soldiers in 2014 when the civil war began (and never ended, btw). They thought they signed up for “training” & some never returned to their parents who didn’t even know they were at war. Ukraine isn’t any less corrupt than Russia.

Makes me think of that one North Korean soldier that escaped North Korea into South Korea, and he was being chased and shot by the other North Korean soldiers, and just managed to escape to South Korea, where he got help from the South Korean soldiers.

God, honestly I feel bad for a lot of the Russian soldiers. They’re young guys, didn’t know they were fighting, pushed insanely hard, and it’s just heartwarming to see the Ukrainians actually take care of them and send them back. The only one this benefits is Putin.

So many young Russians have been taken away to go to war and it isn’t their fault that they have to fight. This wasn't a missile strike in the very beginning of the video. An ammo depot was hit and it exploded, this wasn't the last one either. There's a whole video you can search up on UA-cam on how to tell a fuel air bomb, thermobaric bomb and ammo depot explosion apart.

Could have had. If US and EU had held their promise to not have Nato go further east then germany when the agreement to take down the wall, it probably doesnt happen. If US had accepted russia into Nato when putin asked for it in 2000, it probably doesnt happen. If EU had accepted russia into it instead of considering it "too big", it also doesnt happen. But where would all those military contracters get their money if there is no risk of war? In the end, if ukraine want anything to remain, its just to waive the white flag and promise not to join nato. If anyone else joins in, who know what russias ally china does? Hearing the sound of that missile strike brought back a lot of pain, even after all these years. When down on the streets the sound of the first plane hitting the first tower sounded almost identical to this one.

Agreed, we blame the leaders aka Putin. These men have been manipulated and brainwashed. They had little to no choice or idea of what they were getting into. Justice for Ukraine all we can hope is this ends with their victory

I feel terrible for the Ukrainian people. None of us should ever go through anything like this but yet it is happening to thousands of Ukrainian people. 🙏

I'm really not understanding how soldiers can be sent into another country without knowing that they're going to invade or going to war I mean it is unfathomable
They were told they’re going to train only to be woken up in the middle of the night to be put into tanks to cross the border. Some were told that Ukraine already surrendered and that the people were going to celebrate they’re arrival with open arms. Others were told (from their generals) to shut up and uphold their contract (if not they could phase 15-45 years in prison). We also know that they’re not lying from cellphone data from multiple dead Russian soldiers to their parents stating that they’re scared and theirs in fact war happening in Ukraine.
