Episode 93
The Los Angeles Kings compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference and were founded on June 5, 1967, after Jack Kent Cooke was awarded an NHL expansion franchise on February 9, 1966.
The Kings Hockey team, however, has nothing to do with today’s excursion on Kings Road. This trip starts headed East on Sunset Blvd, just past the Comedy Store we turn North onto Kings Road (02:43) where we twist and turn through the West Hollywood Hills. Keep an eye out for the weird black cube house that looks like a fancy car dealership (12:48). We exit the hills and close the loop at Chateau Marmont (16:04).
