As a Juke fan I’m so proud and respect of Edward Waters presents in Jaguarland. They came all the way from Jacksonville FL to the capital city of LA to play some wonderful music. And they’re good for a small band. Even though we beat them 61-0 in the football game. But still I’m proud of them of showing up and representing their school. Thank You Edward Waters Triple Threat Band👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Very impressed with EWC and the heart it took to battle. This is a great representation. Of our culture. Never back down from a challenge. And they actually had a nice song selection and executed well. SU was legendary as always. Great battle.
I have learned that HBCU Bands are never about size and silliness, it's all about the Bands character, Dancers, the University's tradition of excellence, and proven top notch performance both on and off the field. ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL OF THEM!!! 👏 🌹 🏆 Thank you for sharing with everyone. 👌

Agreed! There are HBCU bands with sections bigger than EWC and they aren't this clean or balanced. A good sound is a good regardless of the size. As my BD use to say, "The SIZE has nothing to do with the PRIDE!"
In small bands everyone better know the songs because if you miss a note you will stand for sure. They sounded pretty good I must say from the songs I did't fast forward through
EWC stayed with SU and did played very well for the majority of the time. Towards the end, the band size eventually caught up with them, but other than that they did a great job.

EWC just needs one good recruiting year like Langston Univ and they'll grow. Maybe Langston showing up and battling the Juke last year caught a lot kid's attention. There's too much talent to go around in FL. Let those kids know that FAMU and BCU aren't the only ballgames in town. EWC showed up, didn't back down, and they sound good. Much respect.

It’s harder to play at EWC cause with 50 to 60 people one mess up the whole world knows but with 230+ you can be covered up. But they sounded fuller than most 60 piece bands I’ve saw.
Great job Edward nice sound and arrangements if you guys had about 200 members with that same quality you'll be a force to recon with but nevertheless you guys sound great. SU as always bring that excellence.

I've been going to Southern games since the 80s and traditionally the opposing band has always sat in the North corner of the visiting side while Juke sits next to the student section in the home side. So yes this would sit the opposing almost directly across from the Juke now.

I’m from Duval and I’ve always followed EWU from when they first got there band and football team in 2001 and at one time they had close to 100 members in their band but due to the accreditation that lead to some students leaving the band lost some members but regardless to there size they have always had a good sound
