absolutely loved this!! the game in the corner, the calm background, info on the games, and your voice really brings it all together!!! so so well done!
Well done, great choice of players. Not going with the obvious historical champs, but rather the choice of the young generation, made it very interesting to hear.
Very informative! Here are my top 5: 1. Anish Giri 2. Ian Nepomniachtchi 3. Nodirbek Abdusattorov 4. Vidit Gujrathi 5. Richard Rapport David and Jovanka are definitely my favourite commentators however!
Nice idea for a list! I'm a little older and out of touch with current players, so it's good to hear informed opinions on them. While I'm not familiar with the games of several players you mentioned, Duda is definitely my #1 as well! He plays very imbalanced games, sort of reminds me of a modern Ivanchuk or Keres.
dubov is like a modern day tal, i like that note, I like Tal and Dubov playing style they play psychologically and try to impose fear on their opponent by being aggressive although nowadays these style don't work that much well because of when engine dominated chess eversince Gasparov defeated by blue. You can now always check using computer if their playing style is just like Tal they actually make a lot of mistakes with those sacrifices, but a mistake that is not easy to prove instantly in game. You just have to be precise like magnus, wesley so, MVL or hikaru to have chances on staying on the top.
I actually think you'll find that alot of people would be interested in an extended one hour version of this ahah I'm glad I checked your channel out, this was very informative and fun to watch (:
@@zara_mov you should definitely come and cover Norway Chess. It’s in my hometown and the last years it’s been an amazing event! I think you would really like it. Too bad that Aryan is quitting professional chess :/
For me it would be 1. Daniil Dubov 2.Jan Krzysztof Duda 3. Tal 4.Korchnoi 5.Fischer Edit: Lol i commented before i watched the video and realized that i put down the same two players at the top. i also find it really interesting to watch some of the younger players like Gukesh, Alexey Sarana, Denis Lazavik, Vincent Keymer and so on
That's a really tough question! In terms of chess alone, Magnus has beaten Hikaru more than Hikaru has beaten Magnus, however they both play incredibly high quality games of chess so it's extremely difficult to chose!! It's probably 50/50 between the two, for me!
Maybe I had bad luck with watching Duda games but from the games I have seen Duda they were boring af, mostly just drawing or loosing the game and even if he won it wasnt really stylish. Just got recently into chess though maybe the recent times werent his best.
Hey! I really like your English! Sound like RP. May I ask you, what accent do you speak with, or what part of GB do you live in? I noticed, you pronounced 6 like "sik", is it a usual pronunciation in your region?)
Ivanchuk Tal Kasparov Karpov Fischer Carlson I like your list too. It was very unique and brought my attention to some players I've never heard of. Good job👍
Confident, original, accurate. Take it from this old trouper a reputation as expert on chess is not easily won. No start could be better than what I enjoyed here.
Sorry for the mistake on the last one!!
Great video, Zara. Keep it up

Btw Duda did end Magnus' unbeaten streak, not winning streak
Next video on Alice Lee? I'm hyped for her!
