Hi, how are you? You did a very good work. Would you like to share your e-mail or other link for contacting with you? Thanks in advance ❤️
just discovered your channel and watched 3 videos straight. that's cos i think you are super-cool 😊
2000 fide player here i agree with everything you said i hope we will get anything of it done
In my opinion this video was interesting and entertaining to watch and actually had a lot of insight, like videos like these.

Wars happen all the time, but the difference is you don't hear about them in media because the lives of some people are less valuable where you're from.
what ?😶🌫
Thank you for the video. I read all the comments to see the reactions. I think your targets are well chosen. To go to the next level you need to propose solution that are more considered than 'don't'. I have confidence that you can continue this.
banks don't like crypto because it's a direct competitor to them
do upload more videos :)
Great video! 👏 I agree that there are real issues with crypto but its often the people behind it especially influencers pushing pump n dump schemes that create the ‘scam’ reputation Cryptocurrency itself has potential, but misuse has really hurt its image. Same with AI while it’s true that it’s reshaping jobs, AI can also be a powerful tool for human progress if used responsibly. It’s all about how we choose to manage these innovations. Thanks for starting such a thoughtful discussion!

Another ignorant brat talking about things she doesn't understand, and if you believe studying something makes you an expert at the topic then you're dumber than you look.
More rants please lol
Alright let me ask you this What do you have to know about politics? 😂😂😂😂
Well, it's good to have morals, even when it comes to political issues like wars, where politicians and so called "leaders" don't give a crap about morals, but the problem is that we all know that these emotions and morals would highly likely go out the window if it was a war waged by one of many other countries (like the US or some other western country), there are double standards, and let's not fool ourselves .... And Russian state propaganda loves these western double standards and morals flying out the window by the way! telling "its people": see!? they are hypocrites. And then reminding us of endless wars western countries got involved in (history, politics, right?) We all should try to be honest and ask ourselves: what percentage of my morals would fly out the window if (and maybe when in the future!) MY country and "my people" invaded some other country or joined some offensive war somewhere in the world!?
@@Nurrad why would you think that would change anything. People in the US often criticize the wars waged by their country (like the Vietnam protests). The difference is more so that people in western countries don't lose their job nor their lives over dissident opinions and that makes Zara's criticism a bit gratuitous imo.
Absolutely love rants like this. Keep it up!
hi zara :) I think you are reflecting on an important topic here, which is the normalization of cynical acts and behavior - led by people with no integrity, in order to pursue their own personal agenda for monetary greed. As a different example I have recognized for years now an increase in scam attempts, both IRL and obviously online. The world is becoming more and more dark and superficial, filled with fake people who will do anything in order to achieve personal success. what a passionate young woman you are zara, stay safe :) hugs from Norway
I didn't think I could like Zara any more but here we are
Interesting video. On your first point. Of course if you dont like cryptocurrency for the energy consumption thats a reasonable argument, but if i'm not mistaken cc has been sponsored by algorand which doesn't actually consume that much energy. Your second argument: As a customer of your bank i would like to be free to make whatever risky investment i want. When banks start limiting that freedom it could easily get into grey area's, like should they limit investing in oil companies etc. Of course you're free to dislike cryptocurrency and ai etc. The question if technological progress can be stopped is another. Then on the moral outrage about the russian chess players. It must take an enormous amount of courage to be like Kasparov and stand up against such a powerful and dangerous regime. Are you sure you would be like Kasparov? I'm not sure myself what i would do. I mean, i have a family and would i be willing to risk it? I would say yes now, but can you really know what you'll do, if you're not in that position. Thats just a question.. anyways, i'd be interested to know what you think of that.
I dont have strong opinions on the women equal price part, but I don't find your argument very convincing. Like, should we also have different sections for minorities with equal prices. I watched the us championship and from an entertainment perspective women and open section were equal to me, but in general I do think the open section gets the views and thus the sponsor money. That's kind of how it works in sport right, people want to watch the absolute best players. The world will never be completely equal even if we try to force it on the world. But it's good there is the women section etc so women get the equal opportunity and yeah, maybe the prices need to be higher to ensure that.
1000%, definitely takes a lot of courage to stand up to the Russian state and can put people in a lot of danger if they do, and I should have mentioned as such in my video. With working at the bank I do, we refuse transactions to crypto currency companies for over £5000 as a way to safeguard them, and as a way to protect the customers from scams as that is what we mainly see customers being tricked into buying and then selling to the person scamming them! Thank you for your comment :)
@@zara_mov definitely scams everywhere
You are young, have a job, and are flexible. You can afford to say "I have morals that are not affected by money" but some of those Russian players need to feed their families or pay their debts, they might not be into politics or like what Russia is doing, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't keep doing their jobs, which is playing chess. The FIDE flag is just a PR move so they keep playing. Everybody knows who they are and what nationality they are. Duda not shaking a hand doesn't do anything to Ukranian victims. It doesn't do anything to counter Russian aggression. It's a superficial thing that someone does to feel good about him/herself. It's not worthy of respect or disrespect. It's simply meaningless in the big scheme of things. I think you'll change your 'idealistic' views when you get a bit older and face the harsh nature of reality more than now. When you have a family you have to provide for, or when you live in a country where your opinion could get you or a family member hurt, you will view 'morals' differently. Disappointing immature opinion, video disliked.
Just for the record though, Duda refused to shake hands with Russian GM's that specifically expressed support for Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Whilst Duda is obviously not on the front lines in Ukraine this still does "something" as it ensures that these war crimes are not casually accepted. As a side note is it not just sad however that one feels compelled to put down hopeful or 'idealistic' views and defend the way the world currently works? Why must the harsh nature of reality be accepted lying down? The points you are making in your last paragraph literally defend a regime that punishes free speech by deflecting their blame. Surely the outrage should lie at the fact the Russian players cannot live safely with an opinion against their government? It is easier to be pessimistic than optimistic, please do better.
@@ryanmcquat6841 I know about the person whom Duda refused to shake hands with. It doesn't change anything. It's meaningless. Do you think Putin is under the impression that the world accepts his actions? What Duda or any other chess player do by shaking or not shaking hands is utterly meaningless in the big scheme of things. I'm not 'defending' how the world currently works. I'm giving my understanding of it. I don't like war as much as the next guy. The harsh reality is that people have commitments, families to provide for, debts, and safety concerns. You're mixing things up from my comment. Obviously, you misunderstand or maybe intentionally misrepresent my last paragraph. It's advice to her to not judge players who do their jobs based on some idealistic morals she has, not a defense of any regime. It's more rational to be realistic not pessimistic or optimistic, please do better.
@@realist-cells how does it not change anything, the only way to show you do not approve of said actions is literally to voice your opinion which he did by not shaking hands. Protest works over a period of time with many actions and although in its own insignificant, a build up of acts like these by citizens have caused countries to distance themselves from Russia. Although not explicitly defending, by pushing against what seem like a very reasonable standard of morals, you are excusing the issues ongoing in the world that prevent those morals from possibly being achieved one day. And i feel that condescending advice is indirect defense of russia's regime. They should not be allowed to earn their wage or do their job, if they actively support war crimes. If you feel that is harsh, the easiest way to resume normal activity is to stop war crimes. The whole point of having morals is to keep them, no matter what. If the morals are possible then are they not also realistic? Your opinion is perhaps one reality but not the only one and definitely not the best but it will never improve if everyone held your opinion. That being said neither of our opinions are exactly important, I just think more people should live with more hope for a better tommorow and of all the things to have a go at in the comments it's not really a high priority is it.
No, not shaking hands with someone is not a serious form of protest that could accumulate to have an effect. Let's not pretend. Such actions will not 'build up' to anything against a regime like Russia. This is just fantasy talk. Your 'very reasonable standard of morals' is just an immature unrealistic one. That's the whole point of my comment. Calling it very reasonable doesn't make it very reasonable. I already explained people have lives, debts, families, etc. You'll understand someday if you are put in similar circumstances. You see my advice as a defense of the Russian regime because you want to. I'm against the Russian regime but I also understand that not shaking a hand is a -I-wanna-feel-good move. It doesn't do anything.
@@ryanmcquat6841 realistcells is correct .....and zara failed on the first line when she said she knows some things about politics because she took an A class..... its like someone who thinks their opinion about a complex chess position is valuable because they are rated 800 and can beat their siblings...... typical dunningkruger effect she lacks the maturity and life experience to understand how limited and one dimensional her views are and based on your replies, you too

@@zara_movWomen should be paid for being oppressed in the past?
@ women should be given the same or at least similar opportunities to men, and that can be presented through the same prize fund :)
@ But the opportunities depend on your merit. Is it unfair to lower rated chess players that higher rated ones get paid more???
@ opportunities do depend on merit, 100%! But I think there is also a consideration to be made at the lack of ease of access women have historically had to men and some continue to have.

Oh, I’m just spinning webs and catching flies, but your life sounds way more interesting! Tell me more while I multitask on this web masterpiece.
1:25 is a good book, but it's definitely not for beginners, particularly those who have never seen a chess set in their life. For beginner someone really new (below 1000-1400) I think the 9 Artur Yusupov books and the old book by Siegbert Tarrasch Game of Chess is a better choice.
Instead of just playing and doing puzzles and pushing yourself hardly I recommend reading some chess books and one of these books that I suggest is "secret of russian chess masters" Yes, I agree it is kinda impossible to reach GM level in chess, but this is not what let most GM be GM when you read books about chess when you watch GM matches with explanation of each move you will understand what let GM to be GM and put more efforts than anyone else. It is just because they want to master (understand the game more) the game However, there other type of people who are trying to play chess for fun as well as learning and reaching to high level as possible as they can Also, please remember that chess is not about being stupid or smart it is just about understanding chess itself, as far as you understand more as you get better and being a GM that means you understand chess at least 90% of it. Additionally, you mentioned something about being depressed because losing or thinking you are stupid Don't take it in this perspective because this is wrong, instead whenever you lose a match that means you take a wrong move so try to learn and understand why the move was wrong and take it in a way that " Oh I lost because this move next time I will avoid it and I will try to understand why it was wrong " if you take it in this perspective I don't think you will beat yourself for a week instead just a second moment Lastly, you do not need to reach a high level of chess or being GM or etc.... to be proud pf yourself just be yourself as you are and do not act. Take chess as hobby like other hobbies and relax just be yourself and do the right things and you will be proud of yourself some day. Good luck and sorry for this long comment 😅 I just got the feeling that you are facing
