One of my favorite verses that speaks to me about this topic is Genesis 4:7 "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." The hardest part is remembering to repeat this every time you find sin lying at the door, but once you do, you realize that God has commanded you to rule over it with his help.
If you have the time to fall prey to lust it must mean you were not focused on the important things (your life mission, improving yourself, God etc...). If your attention is where it needs to be, lust is weak against you. If you do catch yourself having lustful thoughts it should serve as a sign to turn your mind back to what matters to you. 🙏

I needed this, I relapsed last night after a 3 week strain from porn and masturbation. I asked God for forgiveness and restore me. I realized my mistake an how I invited lust and I won’t make that mistake again. God made me restrain from Porn and Masturbation for 3 weeks he can do it again and more
My advice is dont just stop because you think its bad and Jesus wont like it, so it because you want to honour God because you love him so much for all he has done in your life and for his son do it for God you feel so much more motivated and less suffering rather than feeling a sort of suffering and crave even after you do it if this makes snese

This is actually my first real attempt to change and I've made some progress, but I feel like I'm not good enough or that I'll never get there, especially when I fall. But then I remind myself that that's the enemy talking. Its just like in Bleach when Ichigo had to deal with his inner hollow. We, too, have to deal with our own inner hollows, whether it be lust, fear, anger, or depression. That's why we let God in, so we don't have to do it alone.

Brother its not just how it makes us feel that one should not lust after another but knowing that those who we lust after are not just their bodies but a person whom Christ our Lord God, died for. A person who God Cares for, when we lust after them we dehumanize them by making that person mothing more than an object of their bodies, we take away the fact that the person is a real person with a spiritual state, and a certain relationship with God. When i catch myself lusting after another, i remind myself that the person is not just their bodies, but a human with a spiritual state.

But without God, relying on our own will and strength will ALWAYS fail.
