I didn't lock anything lower down, I just made sure the cam belt was still taut lower down and mark which teeth the belt goes back to. I didn't got as far as taking the cylinder head off, just the top containing the camshafts. I had no issues doing it this way.
Those screws are Ribe. I think they are 8mm. The medium length 8mm ribe socket is about 10cm long and will reach down to those screws and just connects to your usual socket outside of the cover.
Great video. So you do not need to lock anything off lower down the engine to take off the cylinder head with the tools you used?

@@StiloDan09 sorry only just seen this. Thanks so much that is great news. I have oil in one spark plug so hoping to sort this myself
@@davidwood8837 I had oil in 3 out of the 4 and a slight leak out the front over the exhaust manifold. Changing this gasket sorted them all.
@@StiloDan09 thanks once again for your help. Glad it solved your problem
Do you know how to put camshaft in phase. Have opened it
Excuse me, I would ask you, the section of the Valve cover locking screws. Which kind of wrench did you use to unscrew them?
