I remember seeing Martin Short on stage at Toronto's Old Firehall Theatre, when he was part of Second City here. He did a bit as an interpretive Russian dancer that was hilarious, flinging himself all around the stage. I was hoping to find a clip from that on UA-cam, but alas it's from too long ago and before his fame.
Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6) and created ALL THINGS. Christ Jesus died on a cross 2,000 years ago to take our sins upon Himself and the wrath of the Father in heaven that we might be forgiven and go free from the curse of sin that leads us all to die one day. Jesus loved us enough to die in our place that we might not see hell, but partake in His eternal life. (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; 1 John 5:11) That's how JESUS SAVES. God bless each and every person that reads this to have the eternal life through Christ that God desires for us all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
“Slap yourself in the face” “What?!?! “Your face....slap it” *slaps face* “harder” *slaps harder* “again” *slaps again* “sober yet?” “One more... time *slaps and falls* “Ok, how does it feel?” “It feels good” “The Jack Putter machine...zero defects. Ahhh. God help us!”
Utter gold.I thiught I was going to die laughing The joy on his face and the insane tinkling on the Piano His total commitment.Never seen the likes of ot since.
If you knew how many times my twin brother and I have parodied these moves!! Every time we hear a little tune and one of us start dancing like that - funny as hell! Only a 24 carat comedian could do something so utterly brilliantly lame!! 😆😁
Blasphemy! How dare you sir! 😝 On a brighter note, somebody with audio-visual skillz needs to mash up this scene with Dear Little Buttercup…that would be pure heaven.
Really to tell u the truth i kinda guesed who it was, because i listened to cooke's song and didn't sound very similar. Maybe it was the bad quality...will correct it though :) I still like the Rod Steward version better...
Nothing idiotic about this dance, pure brilliance...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's just Martin Short having fun and improvising the dance.
Even though Martin isn't your typical Hollywood hunk, I think that he is very very cute.
Natasha Zhestakova yessssssssss
I agree and I’m 19! Sorry I know this was years ago! And this sounds weird coming from a 19 year old! I have weird crushes!
What I call "off-beat" good looks

@@MorganAFunches I'm 20 and I have a big crush on Marty even now he's on his seventies... I think that makes us two weirds 😅

They left out the best part right at the end. He leans back in his chair and adds, "God help us."
