Thanks! Happy u like it! For the resampling track? Yes, a one shot rec trig on the resampling buffer, this way you can control when (and where) u want to resample :) if u have any other questions, just ask :) have a great day and thanks! ❤️
I just load songs into tracks T1 and T5, alternating between them. I have unarmed one-shot trigger(s) on both channels, and arm them when I want to start playing a track on that channel, so they stay in sync. I too use slices to jump around the songs, and scenes for transitions. However I set the slices to play until the end, where I first trim-select a number of bars "x" so that when I add a slice grid, x/(one of the slice grid counts) = 1, 2, or 4 so I can jump around in 1/2/4 bar increments with the slice selector (and start playing from there by arming). Then use CUE out to beat match the track that is not playing out at the moment. The #1 thing that sucks with this workflow is that you need to manually extend the last slice to the end of the song or it will cut out when the end of the last slice is reached.
Hi! This is a setup that thinks even more like a DJ, very interesting! Basically it's two decks instead of one. But, the scenes mapped to track 1 and those mapped to track 5, how do you manage them? In terms of project layout I mean.
Thank you so much for explaining, it’s always amazing what the Octatrack is capable of! During the Berliner Funkwerke Vol. 8 Spezial stream, I was wondering how you could implement something like that with the Octatrack - keep up the great work!
Many thanks! This setup takes a bit of practice, but once you get your hands on it, it's a lot of fun, and most importantly it solves a lot of problems! At least for me :) thanks for the support! ❤️ If all goes well, there will be another stream, from Berlin this time, but I can't say anything yet 😊
This is a fantastic video. Very helpful. You have a new fan.
Thank you! Happy to hear mate!❤️🙏

It really is! Thanks man!❤️❤️❤️
Great video and very nice setup! Could you share how did you set up the recording? Did you use a recording trigger?
