Couple of great videos of peckett l, wonderful. I spent such a long time of my childhood in Yeovil. Not been there much since my grandfather passed away. Got photos of the flying Scotsman on the turntable there. Thanks for the video mate brings back memories ☺️
A very good engine, I wasn’t old enough to experience break van rides and see her working alongside 6000 and D2578 at Bulmers but certainly have the respect for the bunch that brought steam back to the mainline! I feel proud to see that it still runs today with the name they gave her.
I remember going for rides in the GWR brake van behind that at Bulmers in Hereford. While it's sad that there isnt a steam railway in Hereford anymore, its nice to see Pectin having a bit more space to stretch its legs
Nice video at Yeovil. I had considered visiting today. Looked a glorious day to welcome Pectin back into service and Lord Fisher getting in on the action aswell.
Brilliant footage! Looks like a nice set up there at Yeovil Junction! My dad told me some years ago about brake van rides at Bulmers in Hereford hauled by Pectin. Great to see the loco being looked after and back in steam!
Many thanks! Well worth a visit if you get the chance. Yes, she was originally preserved there. Bet that was an interesting set up there from what I've heard about was their collect at the time.
Excellent video of the return of the red Peckett back in action Callum 👍👍 I really am glad of see this loco in operation again as it fantastic to see more 0-4-0 tank engines in action. I will hope to visit this railway centre at Yeovil in the near future as this a railway centre that never visit before.
Was Pectin at Bulmers in Hereford many years ago? Sure I saw it alongside Clan Line, Princess Elizabeth and the magnificent King George V. Possibly a pannier tank too.
Ar-ha - This must be where you get your great sound effects from!!! Found you out!!! He he. I like the way that how on the same platform - on 1 side you have a Modern Train & on the other 2 Steam Locos with 1 Carriage - speaking of which - do you know why they are using 2 Locos just for 1 Carriage - can't be that heavy surely???😉🤔🚂🚂🚂
Yep, should come in very handy for future edits with my Hornby Pecketts... Normally it is just the one loco, but as this was a special occasion they ran the two. I also believe 'Lord Fisher' is out of ticket soon, so guess they are making the most her while they can
Was good to meet you today. Certainly was a great little event. You managed to get the 37 in the end? Saw it got to Pen Mill then avoided Yeovil Junction! So lucky I didn't wait around for it

I only attended for the morning until the lunch break but was nice to see Pectin out and about again!
Was certainly an excellent day

Shame the centre there has closed. Looked a very interesting place.
What an adorable little engine that is! The DMU trailer looks nice too in that livery.
They really have done a superb job indeed. The DMU coach certainly is something a bit different. Has a fireplace at one end too currently 😅
Nice video at Yeovil. I had considered visiting today. Looked a glorious day to welcome Pectin back into service and Lord Fisher getting in on the action aswell.
Really was the perfect weather for it. Was great to see both the line's steam locos in action together.
I see you couldnt stray far from that gradient 😉 Then again, i dont blame ya, sounded awesome working hard up that!
Well, it's only a quarter mile run so not much else to see. Certainly is perfect for just that though

Yeovil, one I haven’t heard of before, next time I’m down around that area I might pop in and have a look!

Hi Callum I think I met you today down the path.
Was good to meet you today. Certainly was a great little event. You managed to get the 37 in the end? Saw it got to Pen Mill then avoided Yeovil Junction! So lucky I didn't wait around for it
@@SDJR7F88 yes I managed to catch it at pen mill but a shame the DBSO was leading and then it suddenly shot of when I was photographing it 😅
In the description Lord fisher is 1398 not 1719(lady nan)
Correct ;) Was a copy and paste job from another video of the ESR for a template
@@SDJR7F88 oh right lol
