BTW - The colors stay on the fan chart even without pushing the palette button. Look at the outside edge of the person's name. That shows my mother's grandmother (bottom right wedge) all have pink edges! Etc.

When you are viewing the Fan Chart; is there a quick way to go back to the Home person like in Ancestry with the Home button which is on the left side?
The only way I have found is to type in the name in the search bar
I love the colored blocks. I use them for organizing my records. I wish, though, someone would come up with a way to color just the X DNA on a chart. That would be really helpful.
WikiTree's Fan Chart has that feature.
