Whats the furthest shot with 20ga? Everything I hunt is 40 yards or less, but very rare I get long passing shot, do you think with the right ammo and choke could it handle a 50-60 yard shot? Trying to decide in a 12ga or 20ga, shouldered both and like you said the 20ga fit way better and felt more natural to me. Any insight would be greatly appreciated?
This will be my first season with my 20ga for waterfowl. I originally got it to try for fowl, it may end up needing it due to a shoulder injury….
How did the 20 ga treat you I’m thinking the same thing
What goose load and choke combo do you prefer to shoot? Trying to figure out my 20Ga set up.
I wish there was 20 gauge 3.5” shells, hahahaha
Do you really need 3.5"?

No need to shoot over 40 for waterfowl at all. I shoot a 20 gauge and have never felt undergunned. For turkeys yes 50-60 yards is very do able.
I think less recoil and less chances of flinching
