Super7 tried to do this color shifting shimmer topcoat on these initially and when it didn't work out well, I feel like they started to move away from it. They should have just done straight up metallic paint and called it a day. Would have been much better and without the flaking hassle of vac metal. I still like these figures a lot, but definitely fell short of their potential.

I loved how the original had the features that made their arms pop up and spread their wings

For the Super7 SilverHawks are they perfect? No but are they fantastic? YES absolutely! Each figure definitely needs a display stand.
I do hope we get a 3rd run of Quicksilver in silver paint as the grey doesn't work for me definitely a PrimerHawk and too spooked to get the vacmetal.
