To be fair a lot of songs written originally for Miku are pretty dark so it makes sense that covers of dark songs work well with Miku.

My first time listening to a Hatsune Miku cover, and I'm glad it was this. This cover is fire. I used to think vocaloids were dumb, holy shit was a wrong.

This has great Cyberpunk vibes. The serious lyrics with the robotic pop-star voice is great and seems like something that wouldn't be out of place in such a setting where corporations want to make money without the risks of a drugged up pop-star.

The fact that Miku's TTS went from barely being able to make Japanese covers of certain songs to singing properly in English is fascinating
It’s not text to speech though, it’s a vocaloid bank. Her enunciation and singing all depend on the song creator’s tuning skills. I’m sure the english vocaloid bank has been updated over the years, but it’s not text to speech. Tuning a vocaloid takes learning and practice to get right.
Basically how it works is it works off of "reading" and then outputting syllables and how you tune the vocals controls how natural sounding it is in the end...More or less

Bro I heard this in an empty vrchat world earlier and it made me feel something completely different.
Felt like looking back on something that was once fantastic but realizing that times have changed and that they're not going back not matter what. Today could be the last time when I listen to my favourite vocaloid songs, before going to die at Ukraine. Back then i was thinking "Hey, don't do this, you love Miku, right? You had a wish to become a part of the community, create your own song, bad things will end soon, you have future". Mine's brief.
The author's thoughts are about being responsible. The song sings about never trying to burry your head in the sand in the hope of your troubling thoughts going away by themself because it never works.
I'm enjoying this primarily for the sound of the latest version of Miku and the impression that the possibility that "she" becomes some kind of a symbol of true love and responsibility in future is growing. "She", the instrument's personification, has a lot of art and it hasn't waned over the course of the past more than 10 years since "her" creation, and 8 years since I've first fallen in love with this specific music through songs such as "Until Rebirth", "Rain Stain". The number of artists drawing Miku is either stagnant or increasing. Music is created using "her" throughout many languages. Because it is a perfect voice the being behind of which doesn't exist, she is free of the faults of existance, she will be as perfect as we shape her in our minds to be. Like all things in our minds, she is so perfect that her only flaw is the fact that she doesn't exist. That is what I mean.
Creating art with her has been steadily increasing and "she" is an inspiration to a I'm under the impression steadily growing number of people. Many people have some higher appreciation of music created with vocaloids, Miku in particular. It's a big number compared relatively to the overal number of people who listen to vocaloid music.
