I was looking into diamonds as an addition to my gold and silver investments, mainly because it seems like something new and exciting. From the research I've done that seems to be about where the buck stops though, without knowing the right people I get the impression its more likely to lose money than break even. Sounds fun and they would be cool to look at but I'm going to have to pass. Good video and good advice.
If you purchase a quality diamond, you will be able to sell it any time. No one will guarantee you that you will get the full price you paid. That will depend on who you bought it from (retailer or dealer) and what you bought, and the time lapse before you sell it, and the price changes in the market over that time period. Historically, you should be able to get at least 80-85% of your cost if you wait a number of years and the market appreciates as it has historically.
Thank you. One advantage to diamonds is their portability. If you need to quickly relocate, diamonds have an advantage.
True.
