I tell this to everyone we will never run out of diamonds atleast for the next couple of generations and if we ever run out of diamonds there's TONS of it in space. If you going to invest in gemstones never do diamonds
I purchased 30K worth of diamonds over the last 2 years. My diamonds are now worth 120k if I were to sell now (minus 5% commission fee to sell).
Understanding types of diamonds, location where its mined, and availability of that specific diamond plays a major factor on whether your diamonds value will increase.

i love diamonds, high grade diamonds but they are far from liquid. however gold and platinum are and some gold merchants will buy them if you have a mesmerizer of a stone.its a risky game to consider playing

Unfortunately, this guy has little knowledge about diamonds. If you buy any item in a store and try to sell it immediately - is there any item you can sell for the same price??? How should a retailer make money without a margin??? So if you buy a car, a watch, a diamond - selling the same item 1 day later you probably will not get the same amount back. BUT: If you buy a fancy vivid blue or fancy vivid pink diamond in excellent quality and with a diamond expert and put it away for 10 years you will be positively surprised of the amount you will get. Promised!!!

I bought some levian earrings recently they are 14k strawberry gold the has a chocolate/brown diamond with 30 pcs surrounding the brown diamond, I have the certificate of authenticity and quality assurance saying it's a natural stone. Question.. due to the mine closing in Australia I think where these brown diamonds come from, which I'm sure you have heard about the mine closing about 2020. Would it be a good investment to save these diamond for some years? I bought the rings for about 16,000 do you think it was a good idea?
