Thanks once again for your video upload. I know its two years old but hopefully you will see this. Can you recommend an aerial foe my cello TV, I've just bought for my camper.
We used a Necvox Digital TV Antenna. The equivalent on Amazon is on the link below although we haven’t personally used this one. Thanks for watching and we wish you many happy travels with your van. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00XL97PVO?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_ud_dp_4180YNJZZD5RH7WQZJC1
great video again, you are being extremely helpful in my life starting out in van life, thanks again and keep posting. Bought all products on the back of this video, thank you.

Cello are great Value TV’s had the same in my T4 for years. Bought an ALDI 23” TV for my Relay Camper build, appears to be a rebranded Cello but comes with a 3 year warranty. My expensive research into aerials resulted in Necvox coming out on top, tried several others however done came close. My only issue with the Necvox is the cable is a tad thin and my first one died after constantly coiling and uncoiling the cable. My new one is permanently attached so hopefully I’ll avoid similar problems in the future. Sound quality on the TV isn’t fantastic but ok for everyday use however I simply plug my Bose in and that’s that sorted
The Angry Ginger & the Banana Van yes we are happy with Cello. The Necvox is great but the rubber that protects the bodywork comes off every time you lift the aerial from the body. Must stick that on! What Bose unit are you using? As for cheese (watched your video) absolutely agree with you 😂 It should not be in cake! Lemon drizzle...... now that’s a great cake! Thanks for your comments. 🙏
Live to Drive thanks for the Cheese comment 😂 I use a Bose Soundlink Mini which I already had. My mate uses an Anker one that was only £40 and it works as well. Charges via 12v too
I got this cello tv, found your video and I bought the necvox ariel based on your review. But I am finding it a really tight squeeze to attach the ariel to the port. Did you find that too? I got the ariel in but the lead is quite bent.
Yes we purchased this below for that. Thanks for watching. www.amazon.co.uk/kenableTM-Adapter-Socket-Aerial-Cables/dp/B00LPUPZ0O/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1G94HMJ2JG642&keywords=B00LPUPZ0O&qid=1666021424&sprefix=b00lpupz0o%2Caps%2C152&sr=8-1
Great video Just picked our new Cali Ocean and looking for a tv + aerial. Ordered headrest tv holder today from Cali shop and hoping to order tv this week but we are going for the 20". Watched quite a few of your Campervan videos.
Hi there, want to get one of there for our son, he drives a HGV and it’s 24v, will this work with 24v I know it works with 12v? Thanks for any feedback 👍
I don’t see any 24v mentioned. If I were fitting it I would use with an inverter to upgrade to 240v (TV comes with a 240v plug adapter) or a 24v to 12v converter.
Thanks. I do know diesel is on its last few years of service but there are not much in the way of options with Campervans or Motorhomes at the moment. For us, waiting until an alternative to come available with a good range and is also financially viable just isn’t going to happen soon. Memories need to built now 😊 Thanks for your comment 🙏
I couldn't resist. You referred to your cooking stove as a "hob". I realize that's the vernacular where you live, any idea how that came about? Your van will soon be as well equipped as your house/!
Paul Bowers yes found the following info on origin of the word hob “A flat metal shelf at the side of a fireplace, having its surface level with the top of the grate and used especially for heating pans.” 😊 when our van has a shower it will be home 😂
Check out Cabelas.com item 1K-532271 Cabelas easy up shower shelter. Surely some supplier in the UK has something similar. Thanks for clearing up "hob"....
Hi, I have a cello 22”tv (c22230f) model and a necvox aerial setup which I am trying to get up and running. You don’t show much about the tuning. Is it simply a case of let it autotune and all the freeview channels come up on DTV? I’ve tried this and it picks up no channels? If this is the correct method, I’ll go try in the middle of a field somewhere. Thanks
Yes we do let the auto tune find all the channels but of course this needs to be done each time you are parked somewhere different. As we were getting it set the first time we made the basic error of connecting the cable to the Sat socket. It did not find any channels and when we realised you had to use the adapter that come with the aerial to plug the cable into the RF socket we were like “of course!” 😂 Only thing with our 16” is when you use the adapter the cable doesn’t really fit as the socket is then longer and the cable fouls the moulding on the tv. We purchased an elbow adapter to sort it 😊
Live to Drive thanks for the reply. It seems I’ve done everything right, tried it in a few locations too. I’ll try contacting Cello in the week and see if they can help.
Thank you 🙏 yes you could use the tv whilst traveling although I would be concerned about how good the magnetic mount aerial would be, although it is good. Naturally, it would be fine providing the driver does not have visibility of it. Sincerely appreciate the feedback thanks again 👍
Live to Drive thank you, was think for the kids in the back to watch either the tv or a dvd whilst we were travelling distance. If you don’t mind me asking how old are your children?
Great video. Like you I don’t bother reading instructions. My natural inclination is to try and figure it out. Works more often than not.
I do like to just do it… but there are a few occasions I wished I had read the instructions. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Cellos are made in Bishops Auckland and they also brand some of their tvs as Ferguson.
They are very good TVs and great value for money.
Yes Ferguson used to be huge in UK. We have had no problems with the Cello. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Great video, very helpful. We need one this size for our tourer. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment and feedback.
It's nice to see TVs get made in Britain
Yes and if the components come from another country I am happy that at least it is manufactured here.
Not quite "Manufactured" but more put together in county Durham but imported from China in kit form
@Live for travel:
How large ist the box in cm,
where the TV is packed ???
Length across front 520mm. Height 558mm. Depth (from front to rear panel) 108mm. All specifications can change. These measurements are for our van.

TYVM🤝😊
Nice review, so what 16'' do you recommend for me to buy today (12v)
Everyone has differing opinions on what TV is best. Also different budgets too. The Cello for us is fine for the price point.
Great video. I have purchased the same TV and aerial based on your review. Where did you position the aerial when filming this?
Thanks. We placed it at the front edge of the roof but to be honest it really depends (of course) on signal strength and direction.
Thanks once again for your video upload. I know its two years old but hopefully you will see this.

Good video, you didnt say where you put the antenna though! Was it inside the van ?
Thanks. Yes sorry I put it on the roof outside above the cab.
Thank you for doing this video!
Thanks for watching.

Excellent, you will love it, we do like the Californias! Thanks for your comments 🙏👍
Hi mate..great review..how long is the 12v cable..would it reach from the front to the boot shelf in a hatchback 👍
I will take a measurement when I am next at the van and let you know.
Hi. I have measured the 12v cable and it is 6 feet including the 12v plug and the plug that goes into the back of the TV.
Hi there, want to get one of there for our son, he drives a HGV and it’s 24v, will this work with 24v I know it works with 12v? Thanks for any feedback 👍

Cello are Chinese parts in kit form put together inna factory unit in county Durham.
They are yes.
Ah ha! Caught you! I saw the instructions hit the rubbish bin with nary a glance!
Guilty as charged Sir 🚓😊

🤞
Does it have a hdmi output on TV?
There is an HDMI socket on the unit although specifications continually change so always best to check before purchasing.
Wonderful
Does itmhave HDMI? Cause i wanna play my ps4 on jt😃
It does have HDMI. Might want to add a sound bar or anything that will improve quality and also volume of the sound to enjoy the PS4.
" Made in Britain " equates to assembled from a kit of imported components to qualify as made in Britain. A good little set nontheless.
I suggest you are right 😊
Can you use this TV whilst the van is travelling? Great channel by the way, watched all your videos today

Enjoyed your set-up video, I believe it is possible to connect some models to the vans speakers to enhance the sound quality.
Thanks. Connection to the van sounds interesting although ours only has speakers in the front doors. Think we need to get a Bluetooth speaker set up.
Assembled in Britain. All components made in………you know where.
I believe I have an idea where…
Does it get Freesat ?
Yes it has Freeview and Freesat tuners. We use a standard RF aerial so only watch Freeview.
