Just purchased this TV from Amazon and was very pleased with it until I tried the Smart facility. Could not download BBC iPlayer itvhub etc, got in touch with cello and was told that as the OS was Android 4.4 a lot of the apps will not work as the OS cannot be upgraded any further. This defeats the object of the purchase for my caravan. They also said that they don't sell this TV as a smart TV anymore. Having just paid £236 for this, I am not impressed even though all the other facilities are very good.
I don't blame you at all. I would be asking for a refund. I recorded my video a while ago. At the time Amazon was the only thing I could not get on it. I will update the description on myvideo and pin your comment. Phil.

Our Freedom caravan came fitted with an Avtex television and a Maxview Gazelle Pro aerial. Setting up the TV was a cinch and the image quality is really good.
Good job I'm tall.
Getting the inbuilt rooftop antenna vertical was a bit of reach ...😀

Just heard a radio advert for Cello TV's British made and checked out their website. Thought I'd search UA-cam for review videos and yours was the 1st I found.

Yes it's a British company, but it's simply a "Put together facility" parts and casings imported from China.
I had one a 24" and was rubbish
My old Avtex has just died. I'm going to get the 24'. Good to buy British too !

Hi Dean. Sorry you had an issue with it. I was not happy when I found that the Apps were out of date hence me writing this fact in the description. I bought a smart Tv from Currys later on. Hello Fester. I have not had an issue but you cannot get Amazon Prime on it. That is the only negative thing. The picture is very good and it does connect to the Wifi but it does need a strong signal. Hope this helps. These things I have noticed since this review. Thanks Phil🙂

Sat for the last hour or so in the camper trying to get the WiFi working and it’s useless. The whole time my phone works fine.

Thanks for the review - timing is everything, i'm about to release a video discussing 12v TVs etc.
I have a couple of questions about this TV - as its smart TV, i cannot see any mention in the specs if it has WiFi on board - for example if i were using this while away, it would need to connect via wifi etc
Can you reduce the resolution at all? daft question I know - but with some apps, a lower resolution will mean less bandwidth it will require, especially if on a terrible connection.
Finally, the UA-cam app looked really clunky and quite badly designed in terms of usability. How did you find it after using for a while?

Hi Dan. It does have built WIFI which is quite quick I used our rather poor BT broadband and it work as quick as my main TV. It will work with 4G from your phone or a data streaming device. I cannot help re the resolution aspect sadly. The youtube app was quite chunky but I managed to navigate and use it ok. I did later find an old wireless mouse which worked really well with it. All in all for the price I think its quite good value. I would have shown more re the apps but was concerned about the over length of the video. Hope this helps. Phil:)
I know nothing about TVs , and no surprise I can’t even operate the remote that’s why I have a remote operator get it !! I thought that little screen you’ve just doing is not bad and good price too , would I buy maybe not but I think you know who would ? Hi Phil.. I do have this TV and find it excellent.. I've been in the process of putting this in my self build camper.. Could you recommend to me which amp cable to use to wire this to my fuse box which is of course wired to my leisure battery... I have seen 5 amp cable in Halfords which looks pretty decent... Btw .. great channel

He also added look at the wattage of the TV, then if you divide watts by volts it will give you the amps. Phil

Does the TV Satellite work ok on 12v? I can just connect it up to the usual Satellite dish use with a Sky box when on electric hook up?

Hi Phil great video this might be a really stupid question, if the tv is Android, will the tv accept a usb microphone to use on social media. This would be a great feature especially for people who use messenger. Also are campsites offering WiFi.

Hi Ian. I am not aware that this TV can use a microphone? Most Sites do have WIFI but it is not free and sometime the signal is quite weak. I prefer using a Data Streaming Box i.e. a EE data streamer; which plans start at £15 per month and you are not tied to a 12 month contract. Hope this helps. Thanks again Phil:)

Quick question, what are the viewing angles like? I have a Bauhn TV at the moment and if you view from an angle the picture quality is terrible...
Hi Mark. The picture is very good i have noticed any distortion when viewed from an angle. Please note to make use of the Smart side of the TV you will need a good wifi signal i.e. a Data Box. The Camps wifi is not strong enough. Thanks for watching. Phil👍

Is this a 1080p screen?
It is 1920 x 1080 HD. Sadly my camera does not do the screen quality justice. It is a very clear and sharp picture and the internet response is quite quick depending on your internet source of course. Hope this Helps. Phil😀👍
