I conmpletely agree! He is the exact PERSONIFICATION of Kiorby's themes of forgiveness and friendship! He is a decent guy that gets polluted by visions of power, and betrays his friends, pays for it, and is forgiven. He goes through what he sent Kirby through and becomes stronger than any crown could make him. I also have a headcanon that his entry in the pause screen in his soul form is sort of like how we act in real life. We're controlled by thoughts and feelings of absolute hopelessness, but we say, "haha lol i'm fine feel free to help anytime soon don't worry." He's the most human character in the game and I love him so much. Amazing video!
Right as you said in this video, Magolor is really different from the past villains before him (especially Marx), in his first game you might like him at first and then hate or despise him after he reveals his true colors (sad but rightfully) but then with the newer games, suche as Kirby's dream collection or Kirby Star Allies or Kirby Clash series, you can see that Magolor had a change of heart and, despite keeping his mischievous side, he's now on good terms with Kirby and friends especially with building for them amusement parks and helping them as an ally, and thus making you appreciate him again for his character after the events of Another Dimension. And with Kirby's return to Dream Land Deluxe, thanks to its new features as well as new boss descriptions and especially Magolor Epilogue, we can finally see a side of Magolor we have never seen back in the original game and, understanding him, see him in a new light, which is him become possessed by the Master Crown's power and control, his desire to make amends with Kirby while recovering his powers and the realization that he doesn't need nor want being the strongest of the universe anymore. With that said, Magolor is an ally or a villain that you can love and/or hate (even in a good way) but that you will always like as a character in any way. Even i love him so much right now, so much than before.😊💙🩵🤍💛
I guess getting possessed and transformed by a living crown really made him re-evaluate his life. (Personally I headcanon that Magolor had a physical reminder of that time, but because it put a severe strain on life, he took it upon himself to deal with it and over time and with help, healed and became better.)
I will say that the magalor epilogue in return to dreamland was one of the most fun parts of any Kirby game I’ve ever played and I have played most of them. ( I might have a biased opinion as I beat it less than 20 minutes ago)
this is such a great video summing up what makes Magolor so beloved so well 💙 I 100% agree, as do most other people as well, judging from a lot of the fan content I've seen, that he seems to have a great fear of and loathing for feeling weak and powerless, and having no control over his life. I wish we knew where he came from and what his past was like before he made it to Halcondra, but it was likely not a happy one, and probably very similar to how he felt going through Another Dimension, all alone and scared and helpless...
What do you think of Magolor and Return to Dreamland Deluxe? What Kirby theories do you have about him? Let me know in the comments down below!

Would be awesome if we also got a remake for Kirby Triple Deluxe to add more depth to Taranza & Sectionia's characters.
I heard a rumour that there might be one for the switch! As far as I know its pure speculation, but still!

He's not from Halcandra? [rethinks his life]
