today I'm doing a clean out of my 60s & 70s closet. There are so many beautiful items in my vintage wardrobe but some of them I rarely wear or haven't even unpacked from moving in fall so this was long overdue. 🌞

I don't think the lining on the white lace dress looks weird. Hadn't even occured to me until you pointed it out that it might look "too short", I think it looks fine as it is and suits you really well ☺🏵

Ohh yes the white underskirt is very jarring, so short, maybe you can cut the lining to make it shirt length and then just wear a long white skirt or slipdress underneath?
And in my own ED recovery, I had to get rid of so many too small clothes, which was hard and sad, but now my entire closet fits me!
So i admire the mindset a lot - clothes are supposed to fit us, not the reverse!
Hi! I came to comment the same thing. lol. I’ve always had an issue with sheer maxi dresses that have a shorter lining underneath. Not sure what it is but not a fan.

Keep the white Stevie Nicks dress, it's beautiful. ❤Let go off the red skirt, the placement of the plead in front is not flattering. 👋
The short red skirt with the white/cream edging looks really good on you and it’s such a strong vintage look. I’d like to see it unpinned though as looks like the pinning is making the fabric bunch up. I know you like everything super short but another inch on that skirt might make it sit better. You’ll also be constantly bending over once your baby is toddling so might find you welcome an extra inch on your skirts.
The short denim playsuit also looks great on you and should definitely fit you well once you’re no longer breastfeeding, or maybe even once you’ve been breastfeeding for longer. Your boobs will be bigger with a newborn who feeds more often.
The white dress is beautiful and fits you well. I think the short length of the underskirt actually shows off the pattern in the lower part of the skirt better than it would if the underskirt was full length, but you could always layer another longer underskirt under it if you wanted to.
I’d say definitely keep these three pieces.
The short psychedelic print dress that you said you don’t know why you put it away is fabulous. I’m glad you realise how nice it is and will hopefully wear it more.
The red skirt is priceless! But maybe it would look ok without the pins (?), short looks beautiful but longer might be even prettier.

I also let go of a lot of vintage dresses and skirts lately. It's kind of a bummer because they're one of a kind items, but I remind myself that it better let other people enjoy them than to hoard clothes that I don't wear anymore in my closet.
