Absolutely stunning home! The post and steps being placed in the middle of the sliding glass door in the back door would drive me insane!!!
We didn't want railings and didn't have them originally. Then our Insurance made us add them...We plan to swap them out with granite steps in the coming years. In the photos they stick out but honestly they don't when you're there. Thanks for following us.

How much would having one of these built cost? Not including the land to build it on. The way home prices are, may be cheaper to just have a home built.

@@eagleridgeloghome those prices are not bad considering the original homes we were looking at for $600k were 2 story 4bed 3 bath 2800-3200sq ft w/pool and now that area wants 1.1-1.3million even though they were sold for $700k in January 2022. Prices are crazy here.

It’s a schist not a granite.
Schist is medium grade metamorphic rock, formed by the metamorphosis of mudstone / shale, or some types of igneous rock, to a higher degree than slate, i.e. it has been subjected to higher temperatures and pressures. Thanks for the info

However, this cabin doesn't hold a candle to the majority of cabins that I've seen on your channel. I've been a long time subscriber and this is pretty average. Though I have to say Zach you still give 110% even for something like this.

How do we book this amazing cabin for a 2-3 week vacation? Currently residing in the United Kingdom and just finished a year plus of chemotherapy it seems ideal. We want to spend some time looking for something similar to buy or the land to build our own property. Being an American citizen I’m hoping that once found it will be a home for the reminder of our lives. I’d even consider a long term rental to find out exactly where we want to be in New England.
