Modifying and using the USMLE First Aid Book: Study tricks for students!

This video shows you why and how I modified my USMLE Step 1 First Aid book. This simple modification can be used on any book that you plan to use frequently. Since First Aid is the ultimate review book for the boards, I took some time to highlight how I use this book. These are my personal study strategies and do not reflect anyone else! What is the best way to avoid nerve damage during a wisdom tooth extraction?

Get an OPG to determine the proximity of the mandibular molar to the alveolar nerve. Discuss the risk with your dentist. He/she will decide the most suitable approach for the extraction. You may then proceed with the complete/partial extraction in the clinic/OR.
