I think part of what makes DanceRacha unit tracks sound satisfying is the big extremes of their vocal ranges- most of the time, Lee Know is the extreme high end, sometimes nicknamed “king of falsettos” by STAYs, Hyunjin is the mid-range, he’s an all-rounder who can sing and rap, and Felix is the extreme low end though he can reach high notes surprisingly well. Also at around 16:21 do I detect a “I know, you know, we know, Lee Know” (It’s a lyric from Tortoise and the Hare, one of their weirder but nonetheless still amazing songs.) And for recommendations, Charmer or Give Me Your TMI. Charmer doesn’t have a music video (sadly), the only thing there is for it is color-coded-lyrics videos. Give Me Your TMI has a music video that’s basically a mini action movie lol

Hyunjin has been writing this song for over a month and shared with Felix and Minho for their suggestions for lyrics and melody. Together with them they worked for 2 hours. Hyunjin recorded the full demo himself and showed it to Chan to help with the arrangement with his friend. As a result, Chan liked the demo version so much that he said that he didn’t have to fix anything much and supplement it. And this demo was sung by Minho and Felix. So Hyunjin was the main composer and sole producer of the song, Chan was involved in the creation of the beat and arrangement, and Felix and Minho did additions to the finished lyrics and music. In staging the choreography, the whole dancerachа also understood the participation. In my opinion this is the best song on the Maxident album. Thank you for your reaction
Stray Kids always does such an amazing job with the use of autotune in their songs, it never feels too much or random, they use it for the effect and not the stereotypical apparent witchcraft some people think autotune is only used for. Oh and stays LOVE taste, literally when it came out everyone went crazy, it's still on a lot of people's top 5 for their listening receipts
That "witchcraft" that people always talk about doesn't even exist, as autotune does NOT make people who can't sing, great singers. It makes already competent singers more accurate. Those are different things. The former doesn't exist but fans think autotune is just gonna turn you into beyonce & it doesn't work like that lol. Anyways yeah I liked the autotune uses in this song.

This is such an amazing song and is my favourite from the Maxident album! Top 10 of the SKZ songs for this year. I too love dark, atmospheric songs (probably why Triphop was such a thing for me). Jaeguchi got the last falsetto mixed up as it was actually Felix, not Hyunjin. I found it so interesting to hear about the production aspects in this song that you pointed out! I love knowing more about how songs are put together, so thank you for that 😁 Songs that hit this darker more atmospheric vibe include Felix's solo "Deep End" (brilliant), Lonely St, Levanter, Slump, Wow (another Danceracha song), Scars, TMT, Sorry I Love You, Secret Secret, Red Lights, Streetlight, 19, and Chronosaurus.

If you like Taste, have you ever listened to "Red Light"? That is the Pre-Taste song where Hyunjin said he based on when he is making Taste. Red Light is a unit b side song with Bang Chan and Hyunjin.
Actually the color coded version you watched is wrong in several areas. One of the most unfortunate areas, is the part in which you were talking about autotune. In actuality, that is Hyunjin's voice (who's the only picture being lit at that time) being layered with Lee Know's voice. There may be some kind of effect put on the layered vocals as well, but in general, that's the main difference.
Unfortunately, there are mistakes in this video. Which is not uncommon for lyrics vids, of course, but sometimes they're particularly frustrating. It correctly credits Lee Know for his falsettos and even correctly credits Hyunjin for his falsetto at the end, but that very last falsetto is Felix (different videos have credited either Lee Know or Hyunjin for it, but never Felix).
