"Fox Business announced Friday that it has "parted ways" with Trish Regan, a prime time host who gained notoriety for suggesting on her March 9 show that the COVID-19 coronavirus was a politically motivated "scam." The decision "took some journalists and anchors at the network by surprise," The New York Times reports, because "Fox executives are accustomed to withstanding public pressure, and rarely make personnel moves that can be construed as validating criticisms of the network."
Fox Business wished Regan the best and said the network "will continue our reduced live primetime schedule for the foreseeable future" to focus on "the coronavirus crisis." On MNSBC Sunday morning, Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman said ousting Regan appears to be part of a larger effort to limit legal liability tied to the disconnect between Fox's public and private responses to the pandemic."

And all opinion shows should post they are opinion and not necessarily fact based.... But if they can be proven then they are exempt.

No, not class action. Full individual law suits. If you go the class action route you have to split the judgement with all plaintiffs which actually works out to the defendant paying less, but if you go the full individual law suit route they have to keep paying full restitution to each individual plaintive.
P.C. Windham: You have a good point, but individual law suits require a lot of lawyers. A class action suit requires a lot fewer lawyers because they represent a lot more people and can therefore win bigger awards. And the legal costs are less, so the people suing get a bigger share of the award, even if, when divided, it doesn't seem like that much. Any amount of money from this particular suit would be fine with me.

Can I sue Fox when my Fox demented mother dies of COVID 19? She is 82 and lives in Naples Florida and is infected with the COVID 19..She has been a Fox knucklehead for a long time. I miss the mother I knew a long time ago. I hope I get to see the Mother I knew when this is over but she is infected and I most likely I won't get to see her again.
