To the point of accountability, I was assisting at a Forum in New York, where I lived at the time, and there was a pre-Forum meeting with all assistants a weeknight prior. I was in Minnesota visiting family and there was a terrible spring snowstorm that was canceling all the flights. I ran from gate to gate as we heard rumors of a flight leaving, desperate to get to New York for this (actually pointless) meeting no matter what. Why? Because I Gave My Word of Course!! I still remember the crazy stress and fear about not making it. No excuses. I was supposed to be "at cause" no matter what.
thanks Ann, for taking the time to respond.. here and via email :) Are you open to recording a conversation? I would LOVE to hear more of your experiences with Landmark... what I'm really most curious about is the (lack of) change from a company specialising in "transformation"... and highlighting the hypocrisy. I'm really keen to speak with people from "the old days" to compare what-was-then with what-is-now so that people can get for themselves how this company/corporation/organisation/LGAT has simply churned AND BURNED though thousands and thousands of people using the same tactics since its existence. There is little regard for what little remains of those burned out... and until people speak up, this trajectory will only continue. The way I see it, it's up to the people who have been damaged to steer this train wreck in a different direction. If/when people from way back then share what it WAS like... people will be able to hear... well, it still IS like that... particularly those thinking of participating. My sense tell me, people considering signing up are the ones who will be researching BEFORE they go in. Those who are already in will be reluctant to do their research and whatever they question will be brushed off as "pfffttt... internet trolls". Stuck is Stuck, would you like to be an ingredient in the solvent?
Yes, and the sad thing is that, from the outside of it, they are reputed to take NORMAL people and turn them into sociopaths. I believe that i saw that phenomenon in my recruiter. She had been a kind, compassionate hospice nurse, and they turned her into a manipulative, lying b***h. I think her reason for becoming manipulative with people was to score brownie points with people above her in the organization.
Hi Josh, thanks for the question... (Anne can anne-swer yours).. I had a look through your channel and see you are familiar with Open Source... what are your thoughts on opening the source of Landmark's work? I took a dive down the OS rabbit hole when I left Landmark - I LOVE the ethos however in my experience it too is an ideal that is questionably functional. Still, it has me wonder what Landmark's Education would be like if it were Open Source.. if there were a RedHattedness that enabled people to explore freely sharing the same values and fork their own versions. This is why I come to you with the question... am I crazy or is this possible? And, I'm guessing you came with a comment because you've participated with Landmark at some stage, would that be correct? If not my question would fall flat for you, still, it's now been asked of anybody reading who might be familiar with both worlds. For me, this is the power of this open Forum we call the world wide web :) And I really do appreciate people who leave comments so thank you... I feel like I've been speaking into a void for 20 years. Discovering OS was a huge part of my healing - to know another world of governance not only exists, it's thriving in what I thought was ONLY a controlled, proprietary world.. it was/is a huge relief.
These discussions are always informative and interesting. Thanks, Dale and Anne.
Thank you, Dale and Anne.
thank Kim for taking the time to say thanks.
Great conversation
thank Roxanne.

Trained as Narcissistic sociopaths- 😂 it would be funny if there wasn’t any ‘truth’ to it.
